AirPlay broken
It did work - but now only the audio and course splash screen stream. Support has not been helpful - very very frustrating.
Please fix this! It was bad enough when the Lynda app for Roku was discontinued. Now AirPlay is broken. Seems this app is going backwards.
Please Add slight drop shadow to video controls
The video player controls are white, icons, and many courses show slides with white backgrounds, which means it’s impossible to see the controls against the slides, causing a frustrating user experience.
My suggestion would be to add a slight drop shadow to the control icons so that you can see them against any background.
Unsupported Content
"This course uses a new content format that is not supported in your app version. To complete the course, please update your app from the app store."
I go to the app store and my app is already up to date, no update to load. I just updated my iphone, will update after I reboot.
App doesn’t work w my library card
But I can login on the desktop version. Please fix this glitch. Thanks
Not working on iOS - known issue for some folks
Not working for some folks on iOS. LinkedIn learning support said it was a known issue that affects some folks. Currently it throws an error on iPhone and iPad. The desktop version is great. I’ll update the review once it is working on iOS for me
Update at your own risk
Latest update broke the application. Can’t view videos cause “This course uses a new content format that is not supported in your app version”. It ask me to update but there is no update.
AirPlay from iPad to appletv 4k doesn’t work?!
Latest iPad mini, Apple TV 4K, all updates current, rebooted both devices, confirmed same WiFi. YouTube fucnctions perfectly with airplay. Learning app does not.
You can get audio but no video. For audio you connect and the. Start and stop the video.
This feels like a bug. If there was no official support for AirPlay I assume the icon would just be removed.
Play / Pause Button
Making this button white when a lot of videos have a white backgrounds was a crazy decision.
App Not Streaming Anymore
I got a notice that the course I was taking uses a file format that the current version doesn’t support. I updated the app as instructed. I still can’t stream the course.
The course was streaming perfectly the day before. The course is not a new course. (Comptia network+)
Great app but it very recently became harder to use
I’ve used this app for a while and I love it but a few days ago it seems they released a new version and with that version I’m finding it MUCH harder to pause and skip backward or forward. The controls used to be overlaid on the video is a more obvious way. Now something happened and I think they often blend into the video, especially if it has a white background. It’s definitely harder to use than it used to be. I hope they revert this change. Otherwise I love this app and the great content they have!
