LinkPure is a clipboard monitor that automatically cleans tracking parameters and unwraps redirect links, based on rules you control.

FEATURES

Automatic URL Rewriting
LinkPure runs in the menu bar and watches your clipboard. When you copy a URL, it is checked against your enabled rules and rewritten in place. A notification confirms each change.

Built-in Shared Rules
Over 1,000 rules are included and work immediately, with no setup. They strip tracking parameters such as utm_source, fbclid and gclid, and unwrap redirect links from Google, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube and others.

Browse and Search the Rule Library
Every built-in rule is listed in the app, searchable and sortable, so you can see exactly which rule affects a given site. Built-in rules are read-only and always active.

Custom Rules
Write your own rules with regular expressions. Redirect Google search to DuckDuckGo, turn a YouTube Shorts link into a regular link, or reduce a long URL to its essential parts.

Test Before You Save
The rule editor has a test field. Paste a URL and see the full rewrite chain — your draft is evaluated together with the rest of your rule set, so what you see is what a saved rule would actually do.

Rule Management
Add, edit, enable, disable or delete rules. Select several at once to enable, disable or delete them together, and undo a deletion within a few seconds if you change your mind.

Launch at Login
Optionally start LinkPure automatically and leave it quietly in the menu bar.

HOW IT WORKS

LinkPure watches your system clipboard. When you copy a URL it is matched against your enabled rules in order. On a match, the clipboard is replaced with the rewritten URL and a notification confirms it. Nothing else is modified.

PRIVACY

URL processing happens locally on your Mac. There is no analytics, no account and no telemetry, and your clipboard contents are never sent anywhere.

One exception worth knowing: a small number of built-in rules are marked "follow redirect". Those make a request to the URL itself in order to resolve where it redirects to. If you would rather have no network requests at all, disable those rules.
