## LinTech Beacon Konfigurator Description
Mit dem LinTech Beacon Konfigurator konfigurieren Sie die Einstellungen Ihres LinTech Beacons.


Sie können:

- den Namen ändern, mit dem sich der Beacon bei der Suche meldet

- das Advertisng Intervall einstellen 


Advertising Intervall ist das Zeitintervall in welchem der Beacon
sein Datenpaket aussendet, es kann auf minimal 100 ms
eingestellt werden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass ein häufiges Versenden
des Advertising-Paketes Einfluss auf den Energiebedarf des Beacons 
hat.


- die Sendeleistung einstellen


Je größer die Leistung desto höher ist die Reichweite. Auch diese 
Einstellung hat Einfluss auf den Energiebedarf.


- die Major- und die Minor-ID eintragen


Über die Major und Minor IDs können Standortinformationen übergeben werden wie z.B. die Filialnummer oder Standortkennzeichen. Diese IDs werden im Advertising-Paket übermittelt.


- den Beacon-Modus auswählen


Der Beacon unterstützt Apple iBeacon, den Google Eddystone und Eddystone URL und einen eigenen LinTech Beacon Modus. Die Modi unterscheiden sich im Aufbau des Advertising-Paketes. Im LinTech Beacon Modus wird auch der Batteriestatus übermittelt.

Was ist ein Beacon?



Ein Beacon ist ein kleiner Funksender auf der Basis von Bluetooth Low Energy, der in 
konfigurierbaren Intervallen Signale/Datenpakete an die Umgebung sendet. Diese werden
von anderen Smart Geräten empfangen z.B. Smartphones. 
Entsprechend platziert können so z.B. Personen oder Geräte lokalisiert, der eigene
 Standort bestimmt sowie Wege und Routen ausgewertet werden. 
Mit Hilfe der Beacon Technologie kann man in Räumen navigieren. 



Es ist immer eine Smartphone-App notwendig, die die empfangenen Informationen 
auswertet.

Dabei ist es nicht notwendig, dass das Smartphone eine Bluetooth-Verbindung
zum Beacon aufbaut. Es können nacheinander Signale von verschiedenen Beacons
empfangen werden, die sich in Reichweite befinden.
