Don’t waste your time

shirazigs on

I bought this app, it was buggy, even it didn’t help me to finish one research. I reached out the support, but they couldn’t fix the bugs. I’m so happy to delete this app. I can’t believe 867 reviews! Thank you 🙏

brilliant app but needs to stop blurring so easily while scrolling

goldenviking on

have the latest iPad Pro 12.9 inch with all the latest softwares updates and when I scroll a document even just a little bit the words get blurry and then I can’t read anything. It takes too long for the blurriness to go away so I can continue reading when I scroll when I move a document. Please fix. you should be able to read a document while moving it, this doesn’t happen this issue doesn’t happen in other apps.

Rip off

Nothappy2153 on

Free version should allow handwritten notes otherwise it is completely useless. The paid version is priced way too high so this is a no go all around.

Amazing References Reading and Note-taking App

HayleyYin on

I used it read all lectures books and slides, it is easy enough for jump across the docs, cloud sync also reliable, occasionally crash but under tolerance, I change from M*N*, the outline liquid made it with some pages cutting from books directly, boost recall of the concepts. The only concern is running the app will drain laptop battery fast, I used it on M2 mba, surface 9 pro, iPad 11 pro and get the same results, only except M1 Max mbp. Hope this could be fixed soon. Thank you for the wonderful app!

No Dark Mode

TomGMBH on

Absence of the dark mode which the competition such as Mindnote and others have implemented a long time ago is a big disadvantage of this otherwise very good app. Collection of the user’s data is also questionable especially for the paid app.

A powerful tool for literature review

TJ kun on

I’m amazed by how much I can do with this app and how intuitive everything is. The simple inclusion of a digital board next to the document is a game changer to me. I love how I can highlight a text and drag it to the board, and the board tell me where in the document the text came from. I’m still discovering all the features, and the app is already making my life so much easier! The price might look a bit steep, but the app offers generous student discounts.

Good,but not great

dman1359 on

This is a good PDF annotation tool. I like how I can link to different parts of the document and my workspace; however, the interface is quite old and doesn’t look good (it’s also not the easiest to navigate). Also, the handwriting and highlighting features need to be improved as well because they both experience glitches that are noticeable (especially the highlighting tool). Overall, it’s a good app, but with upgrades to a modern interface and improved handwriting and highlighting, it could be a great tool.

Cannot login after subscription

Davidxxxxxxxxqqww on

I can’t login to my account after paying. It takes me so much time to reset password entering my account again and again but just don’t work! I’m so annoyed on it!

highlighter colours have no opacity option in settings

goldenviking on

such a basic thing other less sophisticated apps have. also i find the curved shapes around the edges of excerpts triggers my trypophobia somehow; these curve shapes don’t suit the design of the rest of the app either. but this app can do links well. use agenda, evernote & nebo so far, hoping liquidtext has more to offer.

Great but never fixes weird bugs

bugdiscoverer on

Some bugs I encounter seem never fixed despite them being common among reviews, such as handwritten notes in the workspace disappearing randomly. Also, how is it already 2023 and this app still doesn’t have a redo button?? Other than that, this app is wonderfully designed with gestures and very innovative. You can adapt the linking features freely with making mind maps or connecting things at different places of a book, instead of keep scrolling up and down to look for stuff. It has replaced goodnotes to become my primary study app.
