Mailed to LiquidText - no reply for any fix. Useless & waste of time.
I do not see any other application offering what LiquidText offers. If you are one who needs to research a topic, study deeply about it and want a unified solution for everything, LiquidText is the way to go. I love it more with cloud services it offers with subscription. It allows me to sync my material on several devices. It also unifies your tablet with PC and I love that. You can use your pencil on tab to take notes while studying on PC. That is one exceptional feature. Having said that I am not patronizing in anyway. I do not see me going away from this application ever!
I really like the software BUT without being able to print comments next to original is show stopper for me. So I'd like to see A4 PDF printed to A3 PDF so that the comments and drawings are always next to the original page. This is due to extensive need for commenting and sending them back to the original author without forcing them to have this software.
Easy to use across multiple devices, highlighting functions are good, I have yet not see bugs (MacBook pro 16 -inch 2019, macOS Monterey). I would like to see Endnote integration !
Generally ok to use. Might not worth the price (student discount). Will need to evaluate other option. There are something to improve: - Frequently crash. Probably 1-2 times/ sit. Luckily no data lose but annoying still. - Lag when scrolling/ zooming around the workspace (Macbook pro i5 2017). - Can only read word and pdf. Looking forward to epub - Text selection in pdf reader is much worse than built-in macos preview - Buggy when adding textbox. Although I added it to workspace, nothing showed up/. After closing/reoppening, textbox lying in the openning document instead.
Otherwise great app, but waiting 5seconds with every single page to render is a showstopper. And yea, I have ipad 2020 pro.
Useless
All the useable features shown in video and images here require you to unlock the the full version. Unless you want to pay over 30 euros for the full version don’t waste your time with this.
Thank you for adding the left-hand mode. I have used LiquidText mainly in vertical mode, because horizontal hasn’t been very useful until now. Otherwise the software has been useful, I mainly use it for marking valid areas of text when the source pdf is many hundred pages long.
