This is for the Mac version. Running on a 2015 macbook pro. After you use this tool for an hour or so the UI begins to slow down?! So the cursor selector picks the wrong words. It feels jumpy. It's borderline unusable. Which is a pity because other than this it's a fabulous tool.
It’s a bit expensive but it’s clear the creator poured their heart and soul into every bit of the app. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once it clicks LiquidText doesn’t disappoint. Every time I think ‘this should happen when I do that’, I am always delighted when it inevitably does.
When it works it’s great. On some pdfs though, when you try to drag a text over to the notes section, the app breaks the line after every word. It makes it useless and there’s no way to fix it. So yes, it works but sometimes it doesn’t.
I bought this app to do a project for school, and I cant even do that because I have to upgrade to PRO? Worst writing app EVER.
This annoying app ads pop up on youtube all the time. I’m so annoyed with this crap that I loaded just it to make worse review possible. Leave youtube alone!
It’s a great app for the legal profession. Helps you to trim down the burden of carrying bulky paperwork’s.
The best application for perusing documents that I have ever came across…
I have been using the LiquidText app on my iPad and appreciate its innovative approach to document management and annotation. However, I have encountered several issues that, if addressed, could significantly enhance the user experience: 1. User Interface and Experience: • Highlighting Issues: The highlighter tool on the dashboard often overpowers the text, rendering highlighted sections unreadable. • Navigation Challenges: Navigating through lengthy documents can be cumbersome, and the zoom function on the desktop version (Mac) is notably less effective compared to the iPad version. 2. Display Modes: • The absence of Dark Mode or Sepia Mode makes it challenging to read documents in low-light environments, which is essential for users who work during nighttime or in dimly lit settings. 3. Stability and Performance: • The app occasionally freezes on the iPad, and there are instances where annotations cannot be erased, disrupting the reading and annotation process. And last but not least Subscription Model Concerns: • The shift towards a subscription-based model for advanced features has been met with resistance from long-term users who prefer one-time purchases.
