The features are great and unique to any other annotation-application I’ve tried. However, recently the application has been crashing and freezing up an inexcusable amount of times. Every time I use this app it stops working and I lose some of the progress I’ve made. This needs to be fixed. Also the UX could really need an update. Some interactions don’t hold up to the standard anymore. Currently the only reason I’m staying is because I’m “locked-in” to the LiquidText system and some minor features not found anywhere else. Reading lots of PDFs in my work as a researcher, I have much use of the possibilities in this app of extracting excerpts, writing general notes for the paper as a whole, and getting an overview of what I’ve highlighted. One thing I desperately need though, which this app does not provide, is the opportunity to attach tags to documents. As my library is growing it gets increasingly difficult to navigate. Folders don’t to the trick. Please get us tags! Another thing, I’m just dreaming here, but would it be possible for the app to make qualified guesses of the document’s title? It’s usually the first thing mentioned in the document. It would be nice to not have to work to get a neatly organized library, with all documents named in the same manner. Overall, the responsiveness is absolutely good enough, but could be improved (I'm using iPad Air 1). One way; add more juicy animations.
