The two apps, macOS and iOS, are so buggy! Both apps crashed on my 5 times and I’ve only purchased both 3h ago! Adding an rss feed takes the longest of any alternative apps I’ve seen. The rendering of the articles is terrible, with off spacing and there’s no way, I could find to change the background colour.
Enjoy this app and bionic reading so much. Also, Kunal is great and very helpful. Cheers man!
I never leave reviews. This app is single handily the greatest RSS app in the App Store. Yes it’s $15, but what’s that! Easily worth it! The developers here have something great. Given access to feeds in what feels like a native IOS way, but taking advantage of the more feed syncs like Feedly etc. If you use other RSS apps, get this now. Seriously. Right now.
So much better than Reeder, hoping for a text2voice feature, better with self configure option
….can’t read dates in feeds and my “newest” items are dated 2300. UI is convoluted and non-intuitive. I regret purchasing it.
The full text ability and options to designate different views - in-app browser, regular browser, app reader - is something I've never seen before in other rss readers. Works well on a variety of feeds; I'm very impressed. However, I've noticed an irritating issue with all buttondown email rss feeds. Virtually every time I fetch (both icloud sync and standalone) it re-fetches previously read articles for buttondown feeds as if they were unread. As far as I can tell, whenever it does that it's fetching every single item from those feeds anew. And yes, I can mark all below as read, but having to do that multiple times per day is wearying. Really hope developer(s) can take a closer look at buttondown.
Does what it needs, while also being super customizable (if wanted).
One time payment, no subscriptions, and amazing modern design. Love that articles are downloaded and presented in a neat way! Replacing my last news app completely with this one.
Great RSS feed that loads full text articles!
