## Lire Description
Love RSS feeds? So do we!!

RSS feeds are a great way to follow updates on your favorite website. However, some sites set up their feeds to only show a portion of each entry, you know, to get you to click through to their actual website. We find that really annoying, and we're sure you do too.

Which is why, unlike other RSS feed readers, that either push you into a browser (in-app or otherwise), or depend on third party text parsing services and require you to be online to fetch the full text of one article at a time (which makes it no different from having to click/tap through to a website), in lire, you get your favorite RSS feeds as they should've been. You don't need to click through to any website (though, you do still have the option to, if you really wanted). It takes your favorite partial feeds, does its magic, and converts them in to full feeds, so you don't have to click/tap on those annoying 'Read more' or 'Continue reading' links.

Once they're cached, you don't even need to be connected to read your full-text feeds.

Use as a standalone feed reader, sync with iCloud,

or,

sync with any of the several services: Feedly, Feedbin, FeedHQ, The Old Reader, Inoreader, BazQux Reader, Newsblur, Feed Wrangler, FreshRSS, Miniflux, Nextcloud News, Tiny Tiny RSS.

### ***** "Best RSS reader app out there"
I discovered lire from Federico at MacStories and I’m glad I did. I enjoyed my previous RSS reader app, but was starting to find small annoyances and personal bug bears. 

Lire fixes these for me as has the best text parser I’ve found in an RSS reader app. The fact I can use swipes to instantly send articles to my read-it-later app of choice is also ideal. 

The one thing I would appreciate is the ability to mark all articles as read even if it’s still syncing, as sometimes it will hang on one or two RSS feeds; but that’s just a quality of life improvement.

App is full featured and easily configured. Support is fast and superb (within 24 hours). I had an issue with syncing that was due to iCloud not the app.  After a reset the syncing worked perfectly. Superb.

I have been searching for years for an app that will pull all my social media feeds into one place and allow me to organise them into categories of importance to me. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this app! It is super easy to use, let’s you create as many categories/folders as you need and I’m finally stress free with social feeds. I even have all my YouTube subscriptions added which is super easy once you know how to get the RSS feed of a YouTube channel. You guys literally saved my sanity! Well worth the reasonable cost for the app. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

### ***** "Excellent, Accessible RSS Powerhouse, Now With Self-Hosted Options"
This is a great, powerful, accessible RSS feed handler and is especially great for users of VoiceOver above and beyond many alternatives for its special support, which must be acknowledged. It just keeps getting better—now it can sync to self-hosted server options, so with a bit of work you can even keep your privacy. Well worth paying for!

### ***** "Modernised powerhouse"
This is the absolute best rss reader on iPadOS for power users w/

1. Refreshed and modernised interface supporting all new OS features like multi-window, widgets.
2. Automatic full-text fetching.
3. Support most sync services.
3. Tons of customisation and accessibility support.

It may not have the smooth animations of Reeder, nor the subscription cost of Fiery Feeds. But this is the one ticking most boxes. 

I couldn’t find any cons except a few visual glitches that probably nobody else cares.

Lire is super buggy, which is a shame because it’s hands down my favourite RSS reading experience I’ve found for the iPad.

Main issues: Some articles with all of a sudden disappear whilst you’re reading, then it locks up and finally crashes 😩
