According to the message that pops up on screen, support for this app has ended and the only action you can take is click on a button that takes you to the App Store to get a different app (which has in app purchases).
Light version doesn’t work. Once you open the app it sends you to the pro version upgrade. Light version doesn’t work. Bait and switch app.
This app was deprecated and the developer stopped it from functioning and forced what they call upgrade to a different app when it was working fine. This is a travel app. When you are traveling internationally and have limited bandwidth and need reliability, a developer that remotely turns off your working apps cannot be trusted. Do not use anything from these people.
I used this in Tokyo and was able to use it easily. Keep in mind that you should still have "basic train knowledge". This app will not hold your hand all the way to your destination. You will still have to figure out the switching and transfers on your own as well as what exits to take. The one thing I could recommend to make it perfect is that it could have actual land Mark destinations instead of train station locations only. Pro tip: select a station closets to the destination you wish to go. Lastly, this app does not seem to pick the quickest or cheapest route for you. It seems to just pick the route it's most familiar with or the more scenic routes. I found myself taking longer more expensive routes 1 out of 5 of the times. Overall I still highly recommend this app. It saves you a lot of time figuring out the routes yourself.
For the lite version it is decent enough to get you around. The paid version might be better though.
This is NOTHING but nagware it its worst. The longer you use it the more annoying it becomes. Now it is forcibly taking me to the App Store to buy their premium app. Do not waste your time with this crappy app there are better and far far less annoying apps available.
Easy, accurate and intuitive. Anyone on their first trip shoul have this.
It is a small but great app that helped me a lot during my trip in Tokyo, especially in the situation that I have no cellular data available in a foreign country. I agree it is much more convenient than a paper map.
Good and reliable. Easier than carrying a paper map.
