## Liva Description
Welcome to Liva: an evidence-based, digital-first lifestyle change platform.
With the Liva app, you get your own personalised lifestyle plan and a real, human coach that knows your individual needs - right in your pocket!

With the Liva app, you can:
- Contact your health coach via text and video
- Set goals and track your progress
- Monitor your daily steps and other activities
- Record your dietary habits
- Gain inspiration and acquire new knowledge through various learning materials
- Communicate with others on a Liva programme

How does Liva work?
Behind Liva is a team of expert dietitians and health coaches ready to help, guide, and motivate you towards your goals.

1. You start with an initial video consultation where you get to know your health coach. In this conversation, you’ll create a plan and set goals for your programme based on your wants and needs.
2. You'll receive regular guidance in the form of videos and texts in the Liva app. Your health coach will provide advice and motivation, including recipes, nutritional guidance, activity advice, and more - all tailored to your personal preferences.

Our health coaches are trained in behavioural psychology, and our programmes are evidence-based.

About Liva:
Liva is an innovative digital health platform that focuses on delivering tailored health programmes and support. When a person connects with a health coach through the Liva app, they experience the best of both worlds
- a hybrid solution that combines a genuine relationship with the use of a digital platform.

Using advanced data analysis and video consultations, we tailor individual and motivational health plans that consider each person's unique needs. The Liva app also allows integration with wearables like Apple Watch, Garmin, and similar devices, further enhancing our ability to monitor and understand people' health status.

Through our collaborations with healthcare systems, including the NHS, and partnerships with some of the world's largest life science companies and insurance providers, we have the opportunity to impact lives on a large scale. This integrated approach to healthcare positions Liva as a pioneer in digital therapy, creating a positive impact on people' health and quality of life.

When you download the app, you can sync your Apple Health or other wearable tracking devices. This is great if you want to track your exercise progress, like your daily step count, that weekend dance class with your friends or a heroic park run. You can always open the app 'Health', go to 'Sources' where you can activate/deactivate this permission.

## Liva Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Sandie"
I am very impressed with this care and help that is available- I just hope my computer skills can do it justice! I will try to keep up!

I really appreciate it

Thank you

Sandie

### ***-- "Great programme, the app not so much"
It's important to separate the programme (which is really helpful) from the app, I think. The app seems geared to phones, so the usual snags with orientation on tablets. The programme depends a lot on writing to one's coach, and a web interface would make that easier for a lot of users. Setting daily or weekly goals is fine if they're easily quantifiable (steps, e.g.) or else if you want yes/no (vegetable portions daily) but this needs more development, particularly because the programme is all about steady improvements.

### **--- "Missing simple saving of progress"
Completing the initial questionnaire and got interrupted... lost all answers.
Completed quite a bit of it a second time... but page I got to had no continue option. Selected save so could come back to it. Had confirmation mention that email sent with link to complete questionnaire. I have not received it.
Why can't it auto save your answers as you go like most other questionnaires - I don't want to do it a third time and have zero confidence that I will get all the way through.

### *---- "Waste of time"
An app full of pre populated responses….
-- Dannyryanuk, 2024-11-22

### ***** "Continual learning and support"
What an amazing programme. So much support and learning, both from professional a and folk just like myself.
Presented in a structured way, taking the fear out of diabetes and empowering change
-- WeldWay, 2024-10-17

### ***** "Lesley Stoner - Liva review"
I am enjoying the program a lot and find it interesting. I am, on the whole sticking to meeting my goals and am thinking carefully about what I eat and drink and the effect it is having on me.
My coach pays careful attention to my messages and and has provided useful advice and links to further information.
It’s nice to be thinking about myself for a change which is what this program makes me do.
-- Environana, 2024-10-09

### ***** "New user"
Very useful and easy to use
Thank you
-- Sandy mackie tresise, 2024-10-02

### ****- "Jessica"
Jessica is always there for support and lots of ideas.
-- Splash Point, 2024-10-01

### ***** "Liva"
Very easy to set up great support offered
-- Tottenham 83, 2024-09-27

### ***** "restoring healthy eating"
The Liva app combined with the Michael Mosley and Clare Bailey recipe books is helping me to reset my diet and improve my protein intake. My coach is so helpful in enabling me to use the app since my digital skills are rather limited but improving rapidly. The video call with my coach was my first ever video call! I value the support I am receiving through this programme.
