This application allows to display in real time the lightning impact of the Europe area (only). The data are kindly provided by http://www.blitzortung.org.
It also permits to save the current lightning history and reload a particular lightning maps.
It can be useful to follow the lightning evolution in near real time (around 5 minutes of time shift).
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

now will not launch.
Not so good
In the middle of a severe thunderstorm and the app shows nothing.

Locks up upon zooming in or changing the phone orientation, then closes itself. The website is fantastic, but the app needs work.

The data for europe is old and everyday the same, please fix.
No data or hours old
It reported 2 strikes in the us when the other apps reported several thousand. Something is wrong. Don't depend on this data for anything
