Great app! Thumbs up!
Quite handy and visually pleasant app! Thanx a lot. :)
Feels like abandonware at this point…Hope this is not the situation, but with 2 iOS releases and 2 years since last update, doesn’t bode well for those who love Living Earth…it would be great there was an update that brought back a Weather Widget compatibility with iOS 18. Can’t live without its Weather Widget.
Hands down the best weather app available. The layout is clear and intuitive. It’s so easy to use.
A sailing publication recommended this app for useful weather data. It is useless. You cannot zoom in any closer than the size of North America, how in any way can that be described as accurate?!? Never mind micro climates (it says it’s raining here and it’s not), you cannot glean relevant information for any mariner. No wind direction, no pressure zones, you cannot even recognize Hawaii on full zoom. Save your money. Much better information is readily available on the internet.
Updated 11/15: The developer reached out and advised that the cloud imagery had been fixed. It has - good job! This used to be my favorite weather app, but it hasn’t been updated since iOS 16 and over the last couple of months the rendering of clouds and other weather features has degraded significantly to the point that it looks like it’s something from a 1990s video game.
Seems like the satellite images stopped updating. We have a typhoon near Taiwan but the satellite images on the app show clear skiies 2024-10-09 What happened to this app ? Seems like support is no longer available. The satellite images are not updating but the temperature still seems correct. This was my favorite app for checking the weather daily. I could see the satellite images to see is a typhoon/hurricane was in the area. Now it just seems to show the same satellite images without updates
Love the app. Enjoy it immensely. But, don’t get updates. What’s up with that, developers? Somebody die?
Temperatures for my area (Palm Springs, California) are more often inaccurate than accurate. Currently it says it’s 86 (it’s over 100), and the temperature tab for the time of day it is, is actually close to being accurate at 103, the same app…. Two different temperatures. Something is wrong. Adding cities, “San Francisco” shows more than 2 dozen results, NONE OF THEM IN CALIFORNIA?!? Pathetic and sad. LOL
Not honest, developers please clarify how soon this app updates. I took screenshots of hurricane Helene since 5:41 till 11:24 and the cloud formations remained the same. Not very nice since this is being advertised as a weather app? And they also state the app updates every 3 hours. Should I laugh? I don’t see the punchline I can get the latest images online. Just a pretty space-taking app because it does look nice the presentation and it’s a nice concept seeing how the earth looks from above with the “latest cloud formations” but the concept is not really being applied on here at least on time. And I don’t mind having a cool app even if I don’t have enough space as long as I don’t feel I’ve been had all this time. Down the chute it goes.
