## LivingRoom for Families Description
Screens are visible in your LivingRoom! Gain true insight with screenshots from every app, helping you teach digital responsibility through transparency, not just restriction.

LivingRoom can be used to monitor anything! Monitor Messages, web browsers, YouTube, Roblox, Instagram, Snapchat, and more! The app enables internet on your child's device only when screen recording is active. About once per minute, screenshots are saved to your secure dashboard, giving you peace of mind and creating opportunities to get to know your child's online world, talk about online safety, or to set restrictions if something becomes an issue. Encourage accountability and build digital trust instead of fighting over screen time.

Instructions:
1. Setup Apple Family Sharing using your iPhone/iPad/Mac.
2. Install this app on your child's iPhone/iPad and follow the instructions on screen.
3. Check screenshots on admin.livingroomapp.com

Pro tip: You can make it so highly-trusted apps don't require screen recording. Add these apps in Settings->Family->Child Name->Screen Time->Always Allowed and on admin.livingroomapp.com.
Notes: The Phone app is always allowed. Copyright-protected video-streaming apps such as Disney+ and Netflix may be used but cannot be monitored.

## LivingRoom for Families Reviews in United States

### ***** "App shows a lot of promise"
App is great for monitoring kids’ activity. I’m excited for a version for adults to come out and for a couple other future mentioned enhancements such as email reports and blurring for inappropriate images.
-- dhfjbgfbejjd, 2025-11-18

### ***** "Excellent Tool for Parents"
Well thought-out. Offers flexibility and privacy while balancing the values of parents.
-- The JBro, 2025-11-03

### ***** "Parental monitoring with screen recording and screenshots"
This app uses screen recording to monitor all activity on a child's iPhone or iPad, so it's about as good as it gets from a parental monitoring perspective. Your child will see a recording indicator as they use the device, which reminds them to behave as if they were sitting next to you. It's a simple app to set up and there's almost no configuration required. You can review screenshots of what your child was up to. This app can't be bypassed and there aren't any known monitoring loopholes. If you want a simple, yet completely effective approach to parental controls, save yourself some time and just use an app like LivingRoom for Families
-- Ben Bozzay, 2025-10-04

### ***** "Finally"
I built this app for my son. I wanted it to exist three years ago and it’s finally here! I love having a window into his world and he loves showing me what he’s learning and playing. I have peace of mind giving him a bit more freedom because we both know that freedom comes with responsibility. Thank you Jesus!
