## Lizard Evolution Virtual Lab Description
The virtual lab includes four modules that investigate different concepts in evolutionary biology, including adaptation, convergent evolution, phylogenetic analysis, reproductive isolation, and speciation. Each module involves data collection, calculations, analysis and answering questions. The “Educators” tab includes lists of key concepts and learning objectives and detailed suggestions for incorporating the lab in your instruction.

The lab is appropriate for students in high school biology and environmental science classes, and undergraduate biology, ecology, environmental science courses. The focus on observation, measurement, and experimental methods makes the lab a good fit for addressing "science as a process" or "nature of science" aspects of the curriculum. The emphasis on the collection, analysis, and graphing of data, connects to the mathematical dimension of biology and general goals of STEM integration.

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) is a nonprofit medical research organization that ranks as one of the nation's largest philanthropies. HHMI plays a powerful role in advancing biomedical research and science education. HHMI brings the latest biomedical research into the classroom with the award-winning BioInteractive website, featuring free resources for science education, including lectures, animations, short films, interactive features, and classroom-ready lesson plans and activities. ## Lizard Evolution Virtual Lab Reviews in United States

### *---- "EMOtional DAMage"
I would much rather lose 50 50/50s than ever use this piece of utter… garbage again. It froze so much >:(
-- jumpergamer, 2022-05-28

### ***** "Poetry in Motion"
Truly, the most revolutionary piece of media produced in the modern era. An ode to the wonderful and moving sonnets of Shakespeare in its diction and syntax. Delicate wordplay combined with witty dialogue and breathtaking visuals.
This app showed the the light of the one true God and helped me through some of the darkest places of my life. It was my way into the church of His Noodlyness, the Great Flying Spaghetti Monster. View this application in all of its glory and know Him.
Before this app, I was addicted to every drug under the sun. Alcohol, Adderall, Coke, Sprite, Acid, Bases, Violent Video Games. But this… this helped me overcome all that. It showed me that true strength, strength of the soul… comes from illegal Bolivian performance-enhancing drugs injected into any number of natural orifices.
Please, do yourself a favor and absorb this app.

### *---- "im so done"
i suggest doing something when u get this assignment in the future. break ur device, throw it on the ground, light it on fire, then throw some extra gasoline on it, then jump in it because that’s better then attempting the stupid lizard lab. also nvr listen to ur mom when she says ap bio will be fun cus it’s not.
-- ihateithere29739230, 2021-01-22

### *---- "Wowowowow 10/10💯"
This app is so good, it crashed several times. And it froze like ice cream. It was super awesome, I love having to spend 3 hours on a module with an estimated time of 1 1/2 hrs. I honestly wanna have more of these apps never come out, truly, your system is a work of art indeed. I wanted to stop doing it before I even started. This app is as slow as long-limbed lizards on a thin branch😉
-- byeeee___perioddddd__, 2021-01-13

### *---- "This App is Incredible"
This app is simply a work of art. Such high quality videos that you’ll never watch because the videos don’t play, so your left to use your knowledge and guess on every single quiz. From the beautiful graphics that glitch in every single new screen to the glorious activities which are both pointless and time consuming, this app is a wild ride that will leave you with a bad grade, and 3 less hours of your time! My favorite app.
-- this assignment was dumb, 2021-01-13

### *---- "Oh no"
I don’t think they could’ve made a worse app. Glitchy, unclear instructions, boring, disengaging to name a few. Fellow bio students I am sorry we have to put up with stupid programs like this :(
-- Karen77881144232, 2020-04-20

### *---- "Don’t even bother"
I can safely say that was the most frustrating waste of two hours in my entire life. I’d rather burn alive than do it again.
-- another depressed bio student, 2020-04-12

### ***** "Wow"
It made me cry. Cinematic masterpiece.
-- blue daba dee daba die, 2019-02-13

### *---- "Just no - from your fellow AP Bio Student"
The app is glitchy. The videos do not work. The sound is all wrong. I cried multiple times trying to get it to work. Questioning all of my life choices currently. So yeah, 10/10 would not recommend to a friend or any fellow AP Bio Student. Just don’t do it. If assigned, trust me, it’s better to just take the L and get a zero.
-- AP Bio Dude 😭, 2018-10-21

### *---- "Very annoying"
This app makes no sense and I absolutely hate using it in class. I wish it didnt exist.
