L&L began with a small shop on O‘ahu in 1952.
It quickly became a destination for Hawai‘i locals craving island favorites like saimin, fries, burgers and of course plate lunches.

L&L’s reputation for serving fresh, made-to-order plate lunches spread, and what started as just one L&L Drive Inn soon grew. Locations opened across O‘ahu and then throughout the Hawaiian Islands, U.S. mainland and beyond.

As L&L continues to expand worldwide, we keep perfecting our signature take on the classic Hawai‘i plate lunch.

Wherever you find us, every L&L meal serves a taste of Hawai‘i with a side of the aloha spirit that binds the people and cultures of our Islands together.

## L&L Hawaiian Barbecue Reviews in United States

### *---- "Basically useless"
Not sure why I even have the app downloaded anymore, but I guess part of it is that I racked up a bunch of loyalty points back when the app DID work, and now I haven’t been able to order at my restaurant for months. And the app isn’t even consistent with what the error is: sometimes ordering for the location is unavailable, other times only two food items are listed on the menu, other times I get all the way to the end of the process and the payment process flubs. I’ve sent messages to corporate contact emails and even their social medias but it’s apparent they don’t really care. Also new development: I can’t even order online through the desktop website anymore. It lists a single food item available for ordering. Really disappointed in L&L
-- LexxLuuthor, 2025-01-04

### ****- "Add Receipt Submittal"
I like the app but it would be nice to be able to add orders from receipts so you can still get points if you forget to use the app when ordering.
-- Fiestaban01, 2025-01-02

### *---- "Can't order anymore"
No locations accept orders from this app. Garbage
-- egx8, 2024-12-19

### *---- "Unethical"
This app is horrible. Every time I’ve ordered, the app forces me to pay an 18% tip and it doesn’t let you remove the tip. It doesn’t even have a warning saying that ordering online requires a tip.

This mandatory gratuity should be removed
-- Garidoes1, 2024-11-22

### ***** "App got better"
I can actually order food now and super easy
-- bruhineedausername, 2024-11-21

### *---- "Can no longer order from my location"
Online ordering used to be easy! There was a simple web interface.

Then everything got pushed to the app, and I begrudgingly downloaded it. It was clunky but it worked.

Now I have not been able to do online orders for my location for nearly 2 months.

“This order cannot be repeated now.”

“We don’t accept mobile orders at the moment.”

This is despite the app clearly marketing my location as a “new location now accepting orders.” prominently on the main screen.

Do you people want my money or not?
-- Rob Roberton, 2024-10-28

### *---- "Useless"
Terrible. I go to the website for the location I wanted to order from and it says to download the app to order (no other choice, like “continue on website”), so I do and the location I wanted is NOT listed. Waste of time. I will order food from another restaurant.
-- Calzuni, 2024-10-27

### ***** "it works, but…"
y'all definitely need to update the app icon, lol. this is ancient software
-- Bina Bagon, 2024-09-29

### *---- "No Pork or Chicken Cutlet"
C’mon! How are these gravy staples not even on the online app? Lame.
-- Rabbit Island City Council, 2024-09-26

### *---- "Terrible"
Just terrible don’t waste ur time. Had to download Uber eats to place a carryout order
-- EricD333, 2024-09-11
