Great design & functionality. Also happens to be the perfect complement to the crappy search index on Apple Maps. Search using this app & then use the "navigate" action for the great satnav functionality in Apple Maps

I travel a lot and use this app all over the world, it is incredible, gives you all the locations you're looking for with all relevant information
iPad compatibility???
This is a good App, but why no dedicated iPad App? I can't believe it... considering that it's the biggest selling portable device of all time. My iPad is mounted in the truck and so I use localscope everyday. It's annoying having to rotate the mounting cradle every time I want to use it (as the iPhone version doesn't support rotation on iPad!). Another useful thing would be the ability to enlarge the red compass pointer when navigating as sometimes that's all you need - the bearing and the distance. If Localscope had a dedicated iPad App it could be so much more useful and would sweep the floor of all competition... unless of course, the competition gets there first?
