Keine richtige Systemintegration in iOS (senden über „Teilen“-Menü gibt es nicht), man muss also immer extra die App öffnen und dort dann die zu sendende Datei nochmal suchen. Empfänger werden kaum/selten gefunden, unter MacOS muss die App immer laufen, um empfangen zu können und es wird tatsächlich mindestens MacOS 11 benötigt, läuft damit nicht auf meinem Server (MacOS 10.15.7).

Netter Versuch, aber keine wirklich gut funktionierende Lösung. Schade… :(

Diese App verdient viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit. Sie ist einfach zu bedienen und funktioniert super. Fotos behalten ihre Qualität und Metadaten beim Senden.

Ich würde mir noch Notifications wünschen, wenn jemand etwas mit mir teilen will und eventuell Regeln, mit denen Dateien mit bestimmtem Format oder Namen automatisch in bestimmte Ordner gespeichert werden. Was noch cool wäre, wäre eine Möglichkeit, Ordner/Dateien zwischen verschiedenen Geräten im Netzwerk automatisch im Hintergrund zu syncen.

Ich nutze diese App noch nicht lange aber ich dermaßen begeistert 🤩 wie einfach und schnell die Fotos Videos und Dokumente versendet werden 380 Dateien von Fotos und Videos innerhalb von 2 bis 3 Minuten übertragen Super 👍

Da die Macher von Filedrop allem Anschein nach aufgegeben haben und die App durch fehlende Updates nicht mehr nutzbar war, bin ich nach langem Suchen auf LocalSend gestoßen. Ich wollte nur ohne große Schnörkel Daten zu Windows und zurück übertragen und das mach die App auch wie es sein soll! ;) Daumen hoch und weiter so und etwaig in Leipzig. Etwaig mal ein Paypal Spendenbutton mit einbauen!
