Long Exposure Toolkit gives creative photographers the tools to plan the light, find the moon and stars, calculate long exposures, and get the shot right — from golden hour to deep into the night. PLAN THE LIGHT, NOT JUST THE SHOT Track every phase of natural light throughout the day, including civil and nautical dawn, blue hour, golden hour, solar noon, sunset and dusk. Follow the live sun-path arc, see exact times for every transition, and get a live countdown to your next photographic window. MOON, STARS, AND THE NIGHT SKY Point your iPhone at the sky and the Moon Finder guides you towards the moon using the live camera and a precision compass rose. Follow the moon’s path through the night, check moonrise and moonset for your location, and plan for upcoming lunar eclipses. For star-trail photography, choose any star or constellation from the built-in catalogue and view its declination arc — ideal for planning and compositing very long star-trail exposures. LONG EXPOSURES, MADE PRECISE Use the built-in light meter to measure the scene, select your ND filter strength, and quickly calculate the corrected shutter speed. When exposures run into minutes or hours, the built-in timer counts them for you and chimes when they’re complete. THE COMPLETE TOOLKIT • Golden Hour — a light planner for golden hour, blue hour, dawn, dusk, solar noon and live sun-path tracking • Moon Finder — locate the moon, follow its path, and check moonrise, moonset, eclipse and other information • Star Trails — view declination arcs for stars and constellations to help plan long star-trail exposures • Light Meter — live camera metering with ISO, aperture and shutter-speed readout • ND Calculator — calculate corrected exposure times for ND filters • Timelapse — calculate the interval and number of shots required for your chosen movie length • Stops — calculate the exposure difference between any two f-stops, shutter speeds or ISO values • EV Calculator — calculate exposure value from camera settings or measure the EV of the current scene • Timer — time long exposures with an audible alert when the exposure is complete • Torch — adjustable LED torch plus a screen light with a full colour picker for light painting; save your favourite colours for quick access • Inspiration — browse long-exposure photography from the Flickr community and see the camera settings used to create each image • Technique — more than 70 tips covering long-exposure technique, ND filters, subjects, camera settings, focusing and field craft Whether you’re photographing silky water, moving clouds, city lights, the moon, blue hour or star trails, Long Exposure Toolkit gives you the essential planning and exposure tools all in one place. ## Long Exposure Toolkit Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/53/f3/32/53f3321e-690f-4d76-fc94-59a8faf0e216/as1.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/ef/4d/5d/ef4d5deb-0ae5-63f9-6047-c0e3e79064d0/as2.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/51/64/9f/51649fb9-4b94-a5dd-f9cf-aac8c3aa7094/as3.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/cb/28/a0/cb28a097-d64b-d75d-d56b-c821f9e3f7d5/as4.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/77/b5/b4/77b5b438-7e23-4852-59f1-8417e36bc316/as5.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/5e/01/9d/5e019d80-766d-c9f1-1f2d-6511c33f53b2/as6.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/1c/e9/0d/1ce90daa-d64e-69fa-7470-d5be1f4a7c0f/as7.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/0a/7c/da/0a7cda1c-9494-7b0d-9a94-93a680f97a3e/as8.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/57/8d/6c/578d6ca1-4552-92d1-6cf6-1a4a0ac40361/as9.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/9a/d2/56/9ad25684-0a8a-6215-aade-e20f5530e5c7/as10.png/1290x2796.png) ## Long Exposure Toolkit Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 2 (50%) - 4 stars: 2 (50%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Long Exposure Toolkit Reviews in United States ### ****- "Excellent" I tried two other ND calculator programs and they either weren't accurate or didn't have as many features. This is the one to buy. -- Drmbhete, 2014-05-15 ### ***** "Best option on the App Store." Does everything I need. Needed an exposure calc for ND filters and stop calculations past 30s. Yes, I could do it in my head, but this is faster. :) -- Linz.W., 2014-02-26 ### ****- "great app" An awesome app for the photographers who love LE and Landscape photography,,good thing is most of other applications haven't calculator for ND400(since i got one) and i found in this app.., -- Sanjeev Nepali, 2013-09-13 ### ****- "Pretty good. Needs one fix" For some reason I have not been able to adjust the value on the CPL. It automatically goes back to 1.7. Other than that this is a very useful and varied app -- SartreFan, 2013-06-27 [View all Long Exposure Toolkit reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Long Exposure Toolkit Discovered Keywords -
