Everything seems simplistic but I’m having a hard time trying to just draw a line, what am I missing here?

Just such fun to use. I’m a novice at all this and am no skilled illustrator but I’m creating some really fun animations! In fact, I bought it for my nine year old and we have really enjoyed working together on silly projects- he can use it independently too, quite easily. A lot of the reviews previous to this one ask for various updates, such as unlimited frames, which have been addressed by the developers in a recent update. The main thing I’d like to see in the next update is the ability to duplicate frames. Also, some basic straight line and shape making tools would be useful. Looom is great!

It’s like... playing an instrument. When using it it’s got a native fluency in your hands and it does exactly what you want it to do, and does so beautifully. The only 2 things I want is 1) the export function to be better- at the moment the only way is screen record- the Svg file doesn’t maintain the brush thicknesses. 2) longer scenes - at the moment you get max 24 frames, so around 2-4 seconds depending on your frame rate which is nice for little gifs but I want more!

I’m sorry, but the interface is not user friendly. Too awkward to use and not a patch on Procreate and Flipaclip. It’s too simple and you can’t really draw anything apart from moving blobs. Not for artists who want to create something more complex.

I am loving this wee app. It’s great fun to play about with ideas and simple animations. And for the price of a couple of pints, I know I’ll get more enjoyment out of this...and I might actually remember it the next day!

Please fix it I can’t draw and please fix it and then I draw if it’s fixed and this rested my gift card please fix it and give my money back and I love ur animate

I Can’t Even Draw

The user guide is short and full of errors. The app shows promise and maybe some technical merit but needs a lot of promise and doesn’t deserve a design award or its current price tag. I had high hopes for this because of SVG file format but the inability to copy the frame into the next one, the limited drawing tools, and the documentation made me cancel the purchase.

I found it so easy to animate on this app but then I accidentally clicked on the home browser button and the thing I spent days animating deleted itself and I have no way of getting it back. Now I’m sat here crying. I just want a function like on the apple photos app where you can view your recently deleted animations and recover it.

This is a amazing app I just have one problem , there’s no left hand settings , well at least not that I can find
