Description
This app is a part of a system that can autonomously check the WiFi connection quality at any place on a property at any time autonomously by leveraging COTS IoT technology. The system utilizes a fleet of low-cost microcontrollers with two integrated bearers, WiFi and LoRa. The app is meant to be easy to use without training. This system is meant to improve upon the current wireless site survey methods, such as Ekahau and AirMagnet. The system costs less in terms of CapEx, OpEx, and network lifetime TCO. It also takes less time to complete a site survey, as there isn't any manual human labor required.
This system is available to anyone with the LoPy and code installed, as well as the iOS app.
