What’s with “Positive Patterns”?

Montreal86 on

Canada

I like the app and I have been using it for a while. But what is up with the “Positive pattern detected”? Whenever you eat something for more than one day it will somehow say there is some sort of positive pattern detected. I don’t know that me eating chocolate bars on the regular basis is all that much a positive pattern. Maybe plug in some better AI to that feature, because it really make the app lose credibility.

Premium for scanning feature? No way

Essss444 on

So I've used this app since 2017 and it has always been extremely helpful. I always come back to it when I'm trying to be mindful of my macros. However, you now need premium to be able to use basic features such as barcode scanning, which completely sucks since it really makes logging slow, difficult and inaccurate. Had to delete the app after almost 7 years of use :(

They locked previously free features behind a paywall

UnseenWarrior on

A clear cash grab by greedy developers. You used to be able to scan the barcodes of your food to make tracking much easier. Now they decided to lock that feature behind a paywall. I don’t see myself ever using this app again.

Another one ruined by greed

pereira.leo447 on

Canada

Despite promising time and time again that free features would always be free, they’re now starting to paywall things like barcode scanners just like MFP did. This feature comes at no additional cost to the company and was free for the longest time, so putting it behind a premium subscription now is the result of nothing but greed. Don’t install this, there are tons of good alternatives that aren’t constantly inconveniencing you into reaching for your credit card.

Decent free version

It’s a decent app. It pairs with all my other fitness apps. I just wish the food scanner hadn’t been put behind a pay wall.

I highly recommend this app, wealther it’s to watch what your eating, track how much your eating and if your over eating or to loss weight this app is awesome and makes it really easy. Anytime I come back to using this app I loss weight quickly and it has helped me portion my meals better threw out the day and not over eat by budgeting I can loss anywhere from 1-3.5 pounds a week. Obviously I encourage an active lifestyle and healthy eating to go along with this for best results :)

I lost 100 pounds with this application. I was a big advocate for it. Before a lot of options were free. Now you need you need to pay for scanning your food. I provided a ton a free entry for the community and helping this application to build it. Time to seek for another app!

Went downhill

Used to work great with the free access to the scanner now you have to pay for premium. I’m not rich to keep paying every year for premium plus I don’t plan to measure calories all my life

4.6 update had bugs which were quickly fixed. 😊

2024-06+ Missing Barcode Scanning / 2024-03+ Full page adds you can't miss seeing / 2023+ if you take a break or get a major upgrade then you have to answer 30 questions to finally say to continue from last used plan, same when you use another device / With latest 4.6 update ability to enter my weight with one decimal point. I was used to entering eg. 150.4 but now I can only enter 150 then the save button works. Also while I was looking at my Profile Settings not finding anything about weight I tried to change my profile picture and got where you normal resize your selected photo and this gives a black screen. So can’t change my photo. ALL FIXED within 24 hours! Thank you to the support team for quick response to customer feedback.
