Keeps me on track

Space-Dogg on

This app is a must for weight loss. It keeps you honest and breaks down everything for you perfectly.

Love It!

Carike458 on

My previous post: I love this Lose It! app! It’s SO much easier to keep track of calories while using it. For me, it’s a fairly slow loss, 20 pounds in six months but I’m totally okay with that. I’m more than halfway to goal now. I’ve recommended it to so many of my friends. Love it! 8/10/2024: i reached my goal 3-4 months ago. Down from 187 to 135 (52 lbs). Still love the app and recommend it to everyone. Love It! Lose It!

Please add to Smart Stack on Apple Watch

SCS1216 on

United States

I love this app and rely on it for tracking my daily calorie input an output. The only downside is that I can’t add a Lose It tile in my Apple Watch’s Smart Stack. I do have it as a complication in one of my watch faces, but now that Apple Watch updated to make the faces not as easily accessible, it’s kinda a pain to track my food using the watch. I dont like keep my complications on my main watch face, I have them on a separate watch face so to access them I need to hold down on the face, change to the next face and then go into the complication. Or I have to pull it up with all the apps. Apple has developed Smart Stack which a tiles that are extremely easy to access from any watch face simply by swiping up. However Lose It is not an option available to add to Smart Stack on the watch. Are there any plans to add Lose It as an option in the Smart Stack?

Accountability

chuy9193 on

United States

I lacked a ton of accountability when it came to losing weight and it was in denial that what I ate was normal, since I was “active”; it wasn’t the case I was eating before what I eat now in 3 days, sometimes in just one meal, this helps me track it and really does remind me to do it reasonably

Guided Weight Loss

RPG ¥ on

United States

I have used Lose It for the past 5 years. The program has always been of great help in battling my weight. About a year ago or so I began to put an even greater effort into tracking food intake & recording weight. The payoff was quite beneficial. The past year has seen a significant weight loss. The reality is you need to take in fewer calories than you expend over a given period of time. Notwithstanding, while Lose It doesn’t lose the weight for you it certainly provides the guide rails to keep you on track & moving towards your goals. This is a very solid, functional & easy program to put to use. RPG

Great Overall

JustSomeDude75 on

United States

I like the app overall but, find it frustrating they chose to lock barcode scanning behind their paywall instead of coming up with something else to create value. It used to be included.

Lose it

Macro gal on

United States

Decent app like the ability to track macros. Only negatives are that the foods list does not always have complete nutritional data for some foods which messes up macro counting if you don’t pay close attention. Also bar code scanner sometimes picks up incomplete nutritional data.

Removal of basic functions

ABN KILLZ on

United States

Not happy with the removal of old existing functions that are not only included now as part of a paid future. I could understand new features validating the charges but to remove features that were free in the past is pretty greedy and lazy

Lose It helped me lose >50 lbs. 10+ years ago

Nandor121 on

United States

And I still use it every day to keep the weight off. I weigh even less than when I stopped actively trying to lose weight. Lose It has been an essential part of being able to stay healthy.

Dont get this app its not what it used to be

Christa7739 on

United States

I used to love this app helped me track my food you used to be able to scan barcodes and see amount of fats, carbs, and protein you're taking in a day now you can see or use none of this all this does now is let you see the calories you out in for a day its sad and appalling that they ruined my favorite app to track my food will be looking for another app
