## Lost Bible Books and Apocrypha Description
The Lost Books of the Bible and The Forgotten Books of Eden

The Lost Books of the Bible by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr., 1926
This is a collection of New Testament Apocrypha, including many works which were admired and read by the early Christians, but which were later excluded from the canonical Bible. It includes accounts of the young Jesus, particularly the Gospel of Mary and the Protevangelion, which provides additional folklore about the birth and youthful adventures of Jesus and which are missing now. Of note are the letters of Paul and Seneca, and the letters of Herod and Pilate, which are most likely a forgery, but add more depth to the question of the historicity of Jesus. There are also a number of non-canonical epistles, such as Laodiceans. Also worth a close read are the three books of the Shepherd of Hermas, which uses apocalyptic and symbolic imagery. This collection is an invaluable selection of portions of the New Testament which illustrates the fluid nature of the early Biblical canon, and provides access to all of the 'spare parts.'
The Forgotten Books of Eden by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr., 1926
This is a popularized translation of the OT pseudepigrapha, quasi-Biblical writings which never achieved canonical status (or inclusion in any of the official Apocrypha). This isn't to say that these documents are forgeries, just that for one reason or another they were not considered part of the Biblical text by the first millenium (C.E.) compilers. This book contains translations of all of the texts found in volume I of the weighty Oxford University Press Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha, without any of the apparatus.

You can find here for free such popular books as: The Apostles' Creed, The Shepherd of Hermas, The First Book of Adam and Eve, The Gospel of Nicodemus and many others books which are missing of the Bible!

## Lost Bible Books and Apocrypha Reviews in United States

### ***** "Eye opening"
I wish I would’ve found this years ago. It is very interesting.
-- Dr. BPN, 2024-11-23

### ****- "Please Correct: Ecclesiasticus 1, intro is mixed in with verse 1 making it too long."
Why in Ecclesiasticus 1, the editor forgot to separate intro from verse 1. I gave this app 4 star instead of 5 because of this error.

My oh my, it would be nice to change by separating the intro [by calling it zero -0 or something] from verse 1.

That way it will be easier to share accurate contents from this app with my friends and family for full understanding of the Scriptures.

I would have thought the lengthy writing was really verse 1 if I didn’t have the physical book.

Please fix this error and I will change my rating.

Thanks and blessings for this great app!
-- 777Lynx, 2024-11-16

### ***-- "If not for ads"
I would have given the app 10 star's.
-- Roger And #itsme, 2024-11-08

### ***** "Audio Play Button"
Please put the audio button somewhere else because this Google ad won’t allow you to press the audio button. Thanks. Amen.
-- Mr_Shalom, 2024-10-08

### ***** "Lost Bible books review"
Very easy to read. A wonderful app to have to include all the Lost Books not included in the Bible’s. Highly recommend.
-- Aurora80911, 2024-09-27

### ***** "Chaplain Stacey"
This is answered prayer! I want as many writings I can get my hands on! No one should dictate what I read or should not read! These writings give truth that obviously some people don’t want us to have!

So this work is a heaven sent volume of the whole story! The so called 66 leaves holes and voids into certain parts of the puzzle!

These writings are a must read for people who want to increase in the knowledge of YAH and his son!

### ****- "I love the Scriptures from the lost Bible"
I don’t like that I cannot highlight in this app
-- Lost but now I’m found, 2024-09-13

### ****- "Almost 5 stars"
I would give this 5 stars however there have been some issues with the app. I’m unable to change the version of the book that I’m in or even confirm the version of biblical teachings. It also allows me in settings toggle on audio and to even choose and audio voice and speed but it does not offer a play option while in the actual text. Other than that, I love having access to all of the lost books and I love being able to switch to commentary. The daily scriptures from the gospel, devotional, and psalms is also amazing! Overall great find, would be a dream if the issues I mentioned were addressed.

P.s. nice touch with allowing me to choose my text font as well! I chose papyrus which gives a scroll feel and adds to my reading environment!
-- QueeninOnEm, 2024-09-07

### ***-- "I cannot see the added books of Ester…"
Please help.
-- LadyKai21, 2024-08-05

### **--- "Audio"
In settings there an audio setting but there’s no audio button. If there were an audio button, I’m sure this would increase ur following! Some us are older and it would be a tremendous help for those who can’t see as well!!!
