You can beat this trend. Lottery Balls uses highly advanced randomising algorithms to find the numbers that other people aren't choosing. 

As well as helping you win the top prize and not having to share it, Lottery Balls increases your chances of winning the smaller prizes. When using other random number generators, including the "lucky dip" available at retailers, each row of numbers will be produced in isolation. This app does what it says it will do. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that when the number of balls = 26, with the number per row = 1 and the number of rows = 5, the app generates 2 numbers on row 1 and 0 numbers on row 5. I could not find a way to contact the developer other than through review.
