Money well spent!
I bought myself a DJI Action 3 and needed a video editing app to, well, edit. Contemplated between Luma and FCP, but ultimately decide on Luma for 2 reasons.
1. One time payment. I really dislike the monthly/annual subscription thing. I understand why the developers do it, but doesn’t mean I like it.
2. Intiutive, straightforward interface. I have zero experience with editing videos using an editor. Previously, edits was limited to using Photos to crop, trim and filter.
Consider that I actually paid for the software, without hands on experience, simply based on the pictures in the app description, as well as some video!

Version 4.1.1 & 4.2.2 👎👎
Since version 4.1.1 the export speed is slower than the previous version, but 4.2.2 is serious next level slow and super laggy even just playing back on the timelines. A 12 mins video now took more than 1 hour and still rendering, i gave up in the end. (A 12 mins video used to render under 12 mins) Totally unusable now. PLEASE FIXED THIS ASAP😞
BTW i’m using M1 iPad Pro.
Worth the money
Though are animated gifs supported for the app? If not, perhaps we would love to have it so that we can put animated gifs into our videos.
Great Application for Editing Videos
This is what I envision when someone says “Video Editing”. Simple to use but able to serve the very needs of a consumer. This software have help tremendously in terms of my enhancing my work performance after you learn the basic of the application. Definitely will need more time exploring but so far LumaFusion have serve it’s intended purposes.

The latest iOS seems to hang the app
When I tried selecting Storyblocks, I just keep seeing that "loading circle". No matter what I type or touch, it doesn't go back to allowing me to choose other media sources. It happened on both my iPhone and iPad. I had to delete the app and re-download the app, losing all my previous projects. And now I still can't select / choose Storyblocks.
Great app
Would appreciate it if during video playback, there was an option to play it at 2x speed to save time while reviewing edits :)
Why Lumafusion hang at welcome screen
I just got the app on my iPad and iPhone 13 Pro Max and try out the video editing but I never seem to get it past the welcome screen.
Please help or I think I have no choice but to ask for a refund.
Feel of Interface Works very Close to FCP
Have to say, I was worried of readapting from FCP to Luma. To my surprise, after download and tested, both works similarly with familiar functions made available in Luma.
With no regrets, using Luma on my iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil paired has elevated the experience.
