I actually downloaded this having completed the Lumino City game which I really enjoyed. However, was so disappointed when I found out there was only a handful of puzzles. I’m not going to moan about price because the level of effort that must go in to create a game so beautiful is value in my eyes. I would have happily paid more for a longer game. I took a bit longer to complete than needed because despite my continually coming back to the grammar phone and clicking around it never played.. only opened books and told me it’s wonderful when you could get it to work. UI needs some work and I ended up having to cheat because I had walked round the house twenty times clicking on everything. I also lost my game a couple of times despite saving. As for the game itself, it's a beautiful, nicely crafted prequel to Luminocity. The puzzles vary in complexity, but never get to the point where you're trawling the web for walkthroughs. If you have a modicum of intellect then do yourself a favour and get this. The controls aren't great, you do spend an awful long time clicking randomly hoping to find something to do, there's not very much guidance. The music is really pleasant and the puzzles are challenging. It's fairly self explanatory, you tap to explore and find solutions to the puzzles. Just don't tap to hastily as you might miss something. I'm interested in the next part of the story just wish it wasn't so expensive. DO NOT BUY FGS 😾 -- hamiltonfanatic, 2016-01-22 ### ***-- "Great game, poor UI" This is a great game in terms of concept, design and puzzles - it reminded me of Machinarium. It's not an 'easy time-kill' game, which is fine - it's a proper puzzle game for people who like puzzle games and working stuff out. However, from what I can gather online, the content has been imported from a PC game and I have a couple of major issues with it in app form. First - there is no settings menu, so you can't control sound effects, music, or any other in-game basic settings, which given the music is balanced loud compared to the sound effects (and outright distracting for one of the puzzles), is a pain. Again, from what I've read, this could be done in the desktop version, so why not here? It also ignores the silence button on the phone, meaning that it plays out loud with the phone on silent mode. There's no option to report bugs, send feedback and so on, which means that I have had to come and post a review to report my second issue (deliberately vague description to avoid spoilers): having worked out all the puzzles and built the power generator, there is a glitch in the game which has stopped me from pressing the button needed to complete the level, despite the power flowing and every walkthrough indicating I had done the right things. Having spent an awful lot of time working out the puzzles and playing my way through, it is vastly irritating to be unable to complete it. Shame, as I was enjoying it up until that point. -- Trash_Girl, 2016-01-20 ### *---- "Not worth it" This game is not worth your time not your money. It is glitchy, and the controls are awkward. I spent most of my time tapping away at things and not understanding why sometimes things happened and other times nothing responded. The game is very precise in where you have to tap and doesn't give any indication of where to do so. There is no tutorial to help you out. Moving around is clunky and slow. The puzzles are not even worth all the effort, because they're not very well designed and too convoluted for the kind of audience these graphics would appeal to. The game is very short so it never got to redeem itself.
