lumen. is a puzzle game with unique mechanics, where you have to solve levels using lights, lenses and mirrors. 
You will find yourself in the old attic and discover the mysterious antique box of Ms. Olivia McLumen, who lived in Scotland over a hundred years ago and was a great inventor of her time, she saved her inventions in cinematic frames for you to restore.

Use lights, lenses and mirrors to solve a variety of easy to hard levels. lumen. is family friendly and suitable for players of all ages. Created by Lykke Studios who also brought you Apple Arcade hits like the puzzle "tint".

### **--- "Repetitive, too easy"
Whilst Lumen looks nice, with flashy graphics and visual effects, it is simply boring. Every level is the same, by which I mean you simply have to rotate mirrors on a board until you light things up. It's too easy, there's no sense of progression, and the faux steampunk back story is frankly embarrassing. And it eats more than half a gigabyte of your storage.

Beautiful graphics which don’t really go anywhere. I played  53 levels and was hoping that the story would develop; it didn’t. A puzzling puzzle is how I would describe this game. No where near the standard of the Room and Da Vinci games which have a story and an ending.

Lovely visuals, relaxing. I can see where others are coming from regarding repetitiveness. Biggest issue is the battery drain: the code needs some rework to improve the efficiency - phone gets very hot and battery level drops pretty quickly (it’s a brand new battery fitted by Apple), which points to the internals running flat out all the time.

Just my kind of puzzle, I thought, but after completing 17 levels I wondered if I’d missed something? Seems I hadn’t, it’s just the same thing over and over and each level is as easy as the last and pretty easy to complete. Considering all the effort put into the visuals & sounds, the gameplay itself is too easy and too repetitive . So disappointed 🥺

Update: I appreciate the developers response and look forward to trying the game again once these changes have been implemented .

This would be just one element in a game like The Room. It would have a difficulty probably around the level 20 mark and solving it would produce an item which was needed somewhere else in the much larger game.
