Need to read before installing

You got to make a account immediately after opening the app then after you make one it makes you do three games only after all that time does it tell you that basically the entire app isn’t free which makes it basically useless if you don’t wanna pay

Problem subscribing

I just bought premium for a year and the app didn’t give it to me. It didn’t start me with the 14 day free trial either. Can you fix this?

Quiet Brain challenge love it

paying AND 3rd Party Tracking!?!

wrecked this lovely app for me to discover that, even with a paid monthly subscription, Lumosity is deploying trackers (example a Facebook tracker). This is to collect and - sigh, yep - make money off of users’ personal online behavior. These specific trackers are solely for monetary gain. This trains my brain but the amount of times that I have cried bc I couldn’t beat my score was uncountable

Never got to enjoy what I paid for

Bluecricket22 on

I paid for this app for a whole year in 2019 without knowing I did. So I never got to enjoy it as I did not know I paid for it. It saddens me, I can't afford it now, maybe someday. The experience certainly has made me more cautious now.

Good but needs a freshen up

Mspencer202 on

Have been using this app for years. The games are fun and challenging. I don’t skip some that I don’t like. I’ve noticed that there haven’t been many new games for YEARS. It would be nice if they kept developing some fresh ideas to keep engaged.

Could be great

lawstar on

I have had the paid version for this app because there were a couple of games I really enjoyed playing. My main issue is the levels to the games are very limited, like 10 or 12. Once you reach those levels, playing the game is no longer as challenging. The huge problem is that these games haven’t been updated or further developed in years. It’s not worth paying for this app for over one month. I highly doubt repeatedly playing a game that you have already beaten helps with any cognitive functioning. The goal is to keep challenging yourself to figure out how to win. They will occasionally drop a new game under the paid subscription, but they are all limited. Not worth it.

Fun challenging games

I have enjoyed Lumosity for several years now. They help with focus, memory, problem solving and reaction time. My grandkids love to play the games as well!

Things that don’t work for me

U p set on

There is no adjustment for any of the coloration, which is difficult for people who have any vision issues at all, and also there is no comparison for age at 80 years old and it’s very unrealistic to to compare someone 84 years old with someone 70 or 75 years old, it kind of defeats the purpose!
