I loved the calming music. I loved that the game was free. I loved in the second part of the game when you had to quickly guess the rhythm before the lights hit the boat. That was cool. I understood the mission was for the girl to complete each game in order to get more light to grow the moon. Once the moon was complete, something bad happened (scales) that tried to steal back the full moon, but through more game completes we were able to take it back! A good simple game that’s visually pleasing! If you’re planning to develop more games like this, or enhance this one, maybe try to convey the story in a clearer way. I couldn’t understand the correlation between the puzzles and the story development, which is a shame for such a beautiful game. It’s a good game to play if you feel like winding down and don’t feel like doing anything particularly taxing on the brain. However, I would argue it is a little too easy for the most part and it’s too short for my liking. It reminds me of Journey so much, so that nostalgic factor also attracted me to it as well. I think that one part with the cogs has symbols that are basically the exact same as ones in Journey, however...I’m wondering if that really is just a coincidence or if they saw Journey beforehand and were “inspired” to put them on there in that particular puzzle. I can see how people can get frustrated by the lack of instructions. However I believe the point of the game is to figure out what the puzzle is rather than solve the actual puzzle. It was a risky choice to exclude instructions but I think the puzzles were logical with enough clues to nudge you in the right direction. I gave 5 stars for the music, art style and immersion. If you stripped that all away you would be left with an unchallenging 1-star puzzle you wouldn’t think twice to play. They basically stylized a simple puzzle to cater to adults. I would have given 5 stars if it was longer, faster paced and more challenging. I would say 50% of the time I was walking to the next puzzle and 50% solving it. I understand that there is no text or voice in this game and the story is told through visuals only, which I find amazing. However, I don’t think this idea was executed properly as i was extremely confused at the end. I also feel like the challenges could be more difficult, for the most part, you were given all of the answers as they would just pop out of nowhere, or light up, Maybe if they were a little more hidden, it would make the game more fun and interesting, as we would then need to try and find the hints instead of them just being handed to us. Finally, I wish the game was longer, this game took me around 30minutes to an hour to complete, and I found myself on the final level thinking “this can’t be the end of the game, can it?” I feel like there should have been a little more story and gameplay, as, aside from the points I previously mentioned, this game was quite enjoyable and relaxing.
