## LuPE Lehr Description
Die LuPE-App richtet sich an angehende frühpädagogische Fachkräfte. In der App werden beispielhaft mathematische Phänomene im Kita-Alltag sichtbar gemacht und spielerisch Kompetenzen für eine professionelle Bildungsbegleitung vermittelt. Anhand von fünf illustrierten Spielsituationen von Kindern können angehende Erzieher*innen trainieren, eine „mathematische“ Brille aufzusetzen, d.h. mathematische Phänomene in Spielsituationen von Kindern zu erkennen und Kinder zu begleiten, diese spielerisch zu erforschen und zu vertiefen. Die App bietet  so einen Zugang zu fachspezifischem und fachdidaktischem Wissen in der frühen mathematischen Bildung, zur Gestaltung von sog. „Angeboten“ früher MINT-Bildung und zu bildungsbegleitenden und bildungsförderlichen Interaktionen mit Kindern. 
Die App entstand im Rahmen des Projekts LuPE – Lehr- und Praxismaterial für die Erzieherinnenausbildung, das am Deutschen Jugendinstitut von 2014 bis 2020 lief und von der Deutsche Telekom Stiftung initiiert und gefördert wurde.
