I’m so old school and until Christmas 2024 had only rode taxis. A fam member talked me into Lyft so I did it, all scared and worried especially about the technology (told u I was OG, ha). I downloaded the App online, advertised as 50% off for 1st-timers. But I didn’t get the discount, didn’t know how to, so clicked Help in the App and it let me msg them. They responded almost IMMEDiately and solved things for me, sending me an automatic credit on my next ride. Woo-hoo! 2nd ride tonight was FREE (less then the $10 max credit for new riders). SO happy w/ my new ride (and so proud going into 2025 a modern gal 😛). Thanks for the lifting my life in my life, Lyft❗️❤️

Sometimes similar cost to uber, other times WAY cheaper

I enjoy the service of Lyft. They are affordable, very effective. If you never try them before, I recommend them anytime.

No explanation either. They just cancel your request and bring you to the home screen with no reason. Telling you to search again for higher price. Just use uber or a cab. Just a scam.

Stiffed

The driver took an alternative route instead of the initially suggested one, and when I asked him why, he claimed it was because maybe there was traffic or accidents on the main highway, Highway 401, which I checked and found the highway was clear. This explanation made no sense, especially since he said he was “following the map,” which contradicted his reasoning. I had to ask him to pull over because I didn’t feel safe—he could have taken any other route, and I could have ended up stranded or, worse, in a ditch in the middle of the night with no one knowing for days. I contacted customer service via chat and later through a phone call. Both times, they assured me they were still investigating the case. Eventually, I received an email apologizing for the incident and stating they were still looking into it, accompanied by a 10% discount. Frankly, this response feels dismissive and inadequate. A mere discount is not an explanation or a resolution for such a serious safety concern.

This ride was for my son today. I already asked him about the service and according to his version, it was an outstanding service. The driver helps my son to get inside the car. I personally; will recommend this person driver to other people interested on getting or looking for great services driver. Thank you very much for such a great service

I received fraudulent charged from Lyft with no history of having an account or using their service. No customer service exists and I have to input banking details to even access the app to check what support options they have in the app itself (nice gatekeeping).
