Mable is a great way to find support workers and participants when it works, but when for some unknown reason your invoice doesn’t get paid (it’s happened three times to me now) good luck getting your money. Mable acts as a middleman, promising to follow up while refusing to provide the name of the plan managers, for six months. By the time the six months is up the client’s funding may have run out. I’m currently owed $1,700 for services and there’s nothing I can do about it.

A lot of things I don’t like about the app so far.

Find it very irritating that you have to manually enter your availability every time you apply for a new job, why can the app not just input the availability on your profile and let you adjust that if required?

Found it very inconvenient that Mable requires you to pay for a police check specific to their platform rather than allowing me to use another support work police check (from the same check provider!) which I had paid for less than a month ago and had used for two applications with more flexible platforms.

Working with Mable has been a really great experience so far. The initial onboarding process was very easy and I had great support via zoom and mobile calls during orientation as a new Mable worker. 
I recommend it to anyone who is experienced in their corresponding field. My only complaint is that I regret not coming on board sooner! Now, that I am with Mable, I am definitely not looking back. Excellent platform to work.
