The app has a nice layout, but is lacking in ease of use. The portion and custom item stuff doesn’t work well. And the most obnoxious of all. There is almost no food from Denmark listed. So everything is manual

Rigtig god macro tracker app! Kæmpe anbefaling her fra! 👏🏼🇩🇰
Since I’ve started using MacroFactor I’ve really been able to take control of my food consumption without worrying too much about making corrections etc. super good
I’m speaking from the perspective of being from Copenhagen, Denmark. I love the design and the user experience using the app. The intro was great and got me really excited for the app. However, it’s pretty much useless for 95% of the products I try to scan using the bar code scanner, and the label scanner have a hard time detecting and , or . making it highly inaccurate. This means I need to track everything manually. This destroys the convenience and whole purpose of tracking your food. I love Jeff and have purchased all his programs, but this is just not launch-able in Denmark (and maybe EU) yet.
For at spare 5 minutter af ens liv 😂
Even with their expanded barcode database for Europe about 60% of all product still get no match. Furthermore 75% of the products that get matches have the wrong nutritional data. This means I have to use a lot of time adding custom foods. At last adding the food is also annoying because of their portion focused configuration. I just want simple per 100g information, with an optional serving size specified in grams, which is automatically calculated from the per 100g information. The process of calculating expenditure ongoingly by weight and consumption is awesome. The AI feature for adding food is also awesome. The app is also fast and responsive! Hope to see the database enriched with many more danish products both in search and barcode.
Awesome app but the barcode scanner gets almost no food products in Denmark. Its a shame because the app looks awesome in terms of functionality. Let us know once you get hold on the EU/Danish food database.
Hey developer!! Check out ‘Frida - food database published by DTU Food’ Seems to be a database of branded foods for Denmark (and perhaps overlaps with most of the Nordics) Frida.fooddata.dk/?lang=en Or you can google if you dont trust my link 😉
The apps functions and its features probably makes this the best app for macro tracking. However the food database is pretty much non existent in the country I live in which means I have to manually type in every food item and its macros.
