UI
The App is finicky, text is too small. The UI lacks clarity and coherence. I much prefer the UI of the Cronometer app…

Its a good app but it misses some crucial functionalities. If for example you select focus on high protein intake, the app will not suggest you any high protein sources. Would be helpful if it can give some advice regarding nutrition.
Very limited. Not worth the money.
when science/health go IT... i know details and thoroughness are important in health & science sectors, but we need an app to be intuitive and efficient. not cluttered with options and multi step interfaces. gosh, logging food shouldn’t be this hard. like what’s the purpose of a plate builder??? should i really be logging my food twice? why does the search bar remember my search when i already found my food? why can’t i drag food when i accidentally logged them at the wrong time? why do i keep logging food at the wrong time?? why is ‘move to today’ an option when i want to move my food of today?? gosh, guys, please simplify your gorgeous app!!
Tried different apps in the last few months, but going to stay with this one. Great features with a clean interface and without the begging for premium features. It is just paid, which gives you the best experience. Really feels like a personal coach, well done!
I have used the app for the trial week, enjoyed it, good functionality and appearance, however I had to manually enter food for a few times, I guess for Europe the food database is not there yet.
Many common supermarket items from both Australia and the Netherlands are missing or (what is worse) have slightly off calories and macros.
I’ve been using 4 other tracking apps in the last 4 months, each had some good features and some drawbacks. But with MF I found the one that really fits me. Love the way I don’t need to track the calories I burn, but get them calculated! Right now my goal is increasing metabolism while losing fat, and seeing the expenditure rise is so motivating! Also love the way I can record body metrics, including pictures, cause weight isn’t everything. And how cool is their public roadmap voor improving the app? Btw, here are two suggestions: Integration with a good weighing scale such as Withings and a body mapping app such as Bodymapp. But seriously: well done so far!
Cant even test it with out subscribing
I have been using the app since June 2022. It has helped me gain muscle, lose fat and right now it has gotten me in the best shape ever. I have tried other food tracking / coaching apps but I love Macrofactor. Its easy to use, gives me all the info I need and the nutrition coaching is spot on. Highly recommend the app.
