it’s a simple and free app for tracking food. while i like the additional things like challenges and the dashboard, i spend most of my time in the diary tab. any criticisms i would have i think are easy to shrug off because it’s free. whenever i see free or single-payment apps or software of a decent quality like this, i always want to encourage their developers to accept donations/tips/support outside of the app store, because even if you don’t want to monetize the app, i want the app to stick around and i know that it takes time, energy, and resources to do work like this.

### ***** "Best Free Macro Tracker"
I was looking to find a good macro tracker and tried lots of other apps, but they all had one terrible thing in common. They ALL required to you to pay either a monthly or yearly subscription that was just entirely too much. Making the base app with no subscription fundamentally useless. 
Then finding this app made all of the other apps obsolete. The features you’d pay for with other apps (tracking fats, proteins, carbs, etc) all for free. Easily making this the ONLY good macro tracking app and i recommend it to anyone and everyone interested in stepping up their nutritional training.

I love this app! I just needed something to help me keep track of my CAL daily goals. Weight is a huge issue in modern day society and tools to help people and stimulate them to be better should be free.

It’s the best app to log your daily food intake including Macros. Easy to use . You can scan the barcodes on your food  and it will up load to you dairy. When you register it will ask you your goals and how to reach it !!  Beat of all its free!!!

I like this app but I wish there was a way to search for you eat at a restaurant and add that way. I can manually enter the details to keep consistent, soo there is that. I’m uncertain why it only shows meager calories burned when I’m running or walking, but I guess that’s just the default. 

Other than those minor concerns listed above, this is a very reliable way to document your fort intake to keep yourself accountable. I would recommend to friends

I love this app!! It tracks almost all the things I want exercise, water and food with a ton of foods that I can just scan and go, and it’s free!! One bummer was but adding newly scanned food froze the app and closed it without adding the food. Then the help and bug button didn’t work(might just be my phone).

Do not rely on the automatic calorie count on Add Exercise feature. I do HIIT work outs, using the app it calculated 1 hour is 338 calories, there is no way that’s all I burned. I compared it to the results of the Apple Watch and it was 690 calories.  I had to put it as a manual entry, you cannot adjust the listed exercise.  With in the in app itself there is a problem. Today it automatically gives me 80 calories burned for 7627 steps in one day. I decided to enter the steps manually in the steps category; gave 160 calories.  Fitness App On the iPhone says 559.

I have downloaded this app twice now. 

I love that I can track all of my macros and that it gives me the ability to change my goals, weight, and diet. The “Create your own food/meals” section is awesome because sometimes I cannot find what I am looking for through the search bar.

The downside is that sometimes the app freezes and I have to close it out in order to use it again. This is also the second time I have downloaded it because the app completely stopped opening for me when I tapped the icon on my home screen. I had been using the app the first time I downloaded it for over 2 months when it stopped working. It’s a bummer because I had all of my foods and meals already added on it and I had a lot of charted information too. 

It’s great while it lasts but it definitely slowed down as I entered and saved more information on it. Then it passed away one day. Sad

I've tried a bazillion apps to nail my calories and macros, but Macro Tracker takes the cake! It's easy, no-cost, and does everything the other apps do, minus the annoying ads or fees. I'm raving about it to everyone. The scan feature rocks, it even tracks my steps and lets me log exercises. I can whip up meals and save them and the copy-paste feature is a game changer. This might just be the secret sauce to finally sticking to my weight loss plan. Kudos, Macro Tracker!

Hallelujah! The search works again! Thank you so much for fixing this issue! This is by far the best app available to track macros. I’ve been using this app since January of 2024 & I’ve lost 59 lbs. I just could not bring myself to give it up when the search was down. I love this app, I’ve tried others, but none are as easy, simple and user friendly as this one. 

I have really appreciated this app for its simplicity and ease of use. You can see at a glance how much you have consumed of calories, protein, fat & carbs as well as how many calories are remaining for the day. There is also a way to input your exercise or connect to the Health app. & that will automatically adjust your caloric intake needed for the day. You can enter in your profile if you want to lose weight fast or slowly. I chose slowly so I would have time to change my eating habits. This app has helped me so much on my wellness journey, I am so thankful for it.

### ****- "Love this app. Food catalogue keeps disappearing"
I stay on track and can see my protein intake. Easy for conversations with my doctor. 
The ONLY downside is that the food catalogue has dropped off again. I have high hopes. The first time the app was restored within a few days. I will keep using this app. I know the creators are happy for feedback and things will be working again in no time. ☺️ Highly and happily recommend to friends and family.
