## Made for This Birth Description
Your pregnancy and birth matter and God wants to meet you there.

Made for This Birth is here to support and encourage you as you prepare for a happy, healthy, and yes, even holy pregnancy and birth with God. We believe that you are designed intentionally and beautifully to grow and birth your baby and He wants to be part of the experience. Birth can be one of the most amazing and spiritually transformative experiences of a woman's life and Made for This Birth can help you prepare your body, mind, heart, and soul for just that.

The Made for This Birth Album contains over THREE HOURS of Catholic meditations, prayer, affirmations, Scripture, and relaxation practice for birth. We'll help you overcome fear, heal disordered beliefs, and prepare you for a joyful and empowering birth with God at the center. Playlists are customizable and can even include your own Apple Library tracks! Tracks were written and are led by the author of Made for This: The Catholic Mom's Guide to Birth, childbirth educator and doula, and mother of seven, Mary Haseltine.

Our Weekly Pregnancy Guide walks you through a more intentional and TRULY holistic pregnancy and birth from the very beginning - Body, Mind, Heart, and Soul. Each week you’ll be offered a unique glimpse of what your baby is up to, digestible but impactful information and reflections about your pregnancy, prenatal care, birth, and postpartum time, beautiful and compelling questions to reflect on, take to prayer, and even journal through, and a custom prayer specific to that week to help you orient all your decisions and experiences toward God's plan for YOU. Unlike secular sources, we’ll see you and your baby through the lens of God’s intentional design, in a way that honors you as a complete woman and your baby as a unique human being.

The Made for This customizable contraction timer allows you to time contractions while also offering sacred images, Scriptures, saint quotes, intentions, and even your own uploaded images to provide encouragement and inspiration as you labor!

## Made for This Birth Reviews in United States

### ***** "Best Catholic app!"
This app has truly been the biggest blessing in my life! As a mother, and a midwife, I use this app almost daily. I love the week by week pregnancy updates, and education, as well as the prayers for each week and things to reflect on. All of the prayers and resources are so lovely. I find myself going back often to pray novenas, read birth stories, and just use it to calm myself when I feel overwhelmed. This app will continue to bless you and your life going forward as a mom!
-- Laure Eb, 2025-09-15

### ***** "So helpful before and during birth"
This app was so helpful week to week in both education and incorporating/nourishing my faith throughout my pregnancy. During my labor it was a great resource for relaxation through prayer.
-- Emma Lotspeich, 2025-08-04

### ***** "What a BLESSING"
I gave birth on Monday and today is Wednesday. I can truly say that this app HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY. God really, really helped me through the prayers & relaxation techniques I learned here. Thank you so much to the creators of this app. God bless you & may Mama Mary always protect you.
-- Esmeralda B 💕, 2025-05-28

### ***** "Sooo Many Helpful Resources!"
I especially loved the Christian birth worker directory, it helped us find our doula! Lots of great articles & printables too!
-- Hmcd24, 2025-04-16

### ***** "Beautiful"
Such a blessing for me during my pregnancy! I highly recommend to any Catholic mamas who want to draw closer to God, their baby, and their husband.
-- MeCroft, 2025-03-10

### ***** "Beautiful birth prep"
I’ve now used this app in preparation for two births. The birth tracks, especially the pregnancy and birth prayers and rosary, have brought so much peace and joy to my last few weeks of pregnancy, a time that is so often vulnerable to creeping doubts and fears. The encouragement to pray for a happy, holy birth was novel (and fruitful!) for me, and I am so grateful for it. In the future I would download at the beginning of pregnancy to follow the weekly guide as well!
-- sherromine, 2025-02-20

### ***** "Amazing"
I’ve used this app to prepare for labor and during the labors of both my children and it was invaluable for the success of my two beautiful natural births. I plan to continue using for future births. I recommend this app to everyone desiring a holy birth experience.
-- DomandGabi, 2025-01-12

### ***** "Holy Birth!"
I am clergy in the United Methodist Church and I love this app! Pregnancy, labor, and birth are such sacred gifts and should get to be beautiful, safe, dignified and meaningful times in any woman’s life. We have been blessed with three girls, two sweet littles under three and another on the way. For each pregnancy I have used Mary Haseltine’s resources—her book, following her social media, and (for baby #2) her app! So much of labor and birth comes down to spiritual and emotional release and strength which simultaneously regulates the mind and body and reduces fear and pain. There is no better way to unite to God’s presence during labor and birth than prayer and this app will give you some tools not just to pray along with the app and the hundreds of other women who have used it, but it will give you tools to articulate your own needs and longings before the Lord. Even if you’re from a different theological tradition, with an open mind, in this app you will find a phenomenal resource for labor and birth filled with biblical wisdom and Spirit led encouragement. Plus, the creator is a mom of 7, a doula, and comes to this project with an excellent theological education so on all fronts she knows what she is talking about! Download this app! And, while you’re at it, get a copy of her book.
-- PokemonGoJogger, 2024-12-21

### ***** "Thank you!"
As a Catholic Birth Doula I am incredibly thankful for this app. It is truly a wealth of information. So grateful for Mary Haseltine and beautiful work she is doing.
-- B Saarinen, 2024-12-19

### ***** "Bringing peace to birth"
This app is the perfect companion to Mary's book and both of these resources gave me the confidence and peace I needed to have a redemptive VBAC. Mary is such a blessing to women looking to trust their bodies and find the incredible beauty in birth. I will absolutely be re-reading her book and using her app for all future pregnancies/births!
