## Magnetic Detector Description
Use Your Device to Detect Magnetic Fields. With this app you can detect wood studs hidden under walls, drywall, plasterboard, or stucco.

Magnetic Detector uses your device's compass (magnetometer) sensor to precisely detect metal studs, nails, screws, and other metal fasteners embedded in all wooden wall studs.

This app operates in a similar manner to other hand-held stud detector tools: as you move the device along the wall, the needle will move and a beep can be heard.

Magnetic Detector is an application which detects the presence of metal nearby by measuring the magnetic field value. This tool uses the magnetic sensor built-in your mobile device and shows magnetic field level in μT (microtesla). The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49μT(micro tesla) or 490mG(milli gauss); 1μT = 10mG. If any metal is near, the value of magnetic field will increase.

Metal Detector allows to identify any metal object in area, because all metals generate magnetic field which strength can be measured with this tool.

Features:
- Automatic sensor that measures the magnetic field in uT.
- Active detection beep.
- You can save the time when the measure is taken.

## Magnetic Detector Reviews in United States

### *---- "Absolute junk"
Don’t waste your time or money! Smoke and mirrors!
-- cca4141, 2024-12-01

### ***** "It works!"
I was skeptical but it will locate studs and find metal.
-- Imagination over knowledge, 2023-07-11

### ***** "Love it"
Love this app
-- Soundscannerx1, 2023-01-28

### ***** "Works well"
Found this for looking for electronics and it works well!
-- Roadglide88, 2022-11-17

### ***** "Surprised… and pleasantly so!"
I just stumbled across this app this morning, while searching for one with a similar name, and thought I’d give it a whirl. If the readings it’s consistently giving me on my i-devices and MacBook are accurate, then maybe it’s time to go back to using a regular quartz Seiko watch and using a Bluetooth keyboard to put some more space between my body and the left front corner of my MacBook! Also of note were the readings from my old (wired) Apple earbuds and wireless airpods…
-- Gemdoug1, 2022-11-14

### ***** "Better than the read"
Works much better than the others I’ve tried…the results will depend on what type of device you are using.
-- waldo3431, 2022-11-05

### *---- "?"
What even is this app? It doesn’t work.
-- player123,765,098, 2022-10-31

### ***** "Good app"
Just started using this app but so far I like it and would recommend it.
-- Terri#01, 2022-10-18

### ***** "It works"
I have a magnetic material and I said there Is a magnetic field around me!
-- Desaibmd, 2022-10-02

### ***** "Worth it"
I was very Leary about trying it out but it actually works for what I’m using it for.
