He has explored the darkest dungeons and braved the dens of dragons to bring you a magic item collection like you've never seen. He has finally published a portion of his discoveries in this mobile application for you to use in your next RPG adventure. His work includes over 30 free hand-drawn sketches and the option to buy many more. It even includes the ability to randomly generate items, create your own, and save them for later use. Magic, right? While the compendium is simple to use, it is more than just a random magic item generator. As a dungeon master, you will have the power to generate thousands of random magic items with a single tap. You will also be able to create your own custom magic items or adapt random magic items to fit your game setting. Once you find an item you love, the magic item compendium lets you save it to your phone so you can pull it up quickly the next time you play. To top it all off, the compendium includes a handful of wondrous items that are ready for you to reference and use in your game. The app is compatible with 5e materials and even pulls some of your favorite magic items straight from the D&D Systems Reference Document (SRD) via the Open Gaming License. Recently been having issues with subscription information simply going missing in the app. One day, my subscription is fine, and I can make items as much as I want. The next, the app has no idea what subscription I'm talking about, and refuses to let me even edit my saved items that used subscription images. And then it returns to normal. Very frustrating, especially when trying to come up with ideas on the spot during games, but overall a very good app. -- Otohemineurasthenia, 2025-04-29 ### ***** "Good app, one bug is annoying" If you have a un-named magic item group you are unable to delete or edit it in anyway. Any fixes for this? It doesn’t break anything but is annoying to look at and Just makes navigating the menu clunkier -- TheMossKeeper, 2024-12-19 ### ***** "Good" Good -- it's me opal, 2024-10-23 ### ***-- "I love the app, except it doesn’t give you what you pay for" I subscribed and it refuses to download the images and data for 16 different packs -- PhoOak, 2024-09-20 ### *---- "Items won't download" I loved this app back when I could just one-time purchase things, but now that the world is going to subscription based purchases, so too did this app. Now I have to pay a monthly subscription for artwork that half the time won't even download. Sorry, but this proves that even when you have something great, all it takes is a subscription to ruin it for all. -- Sly synestro, 2024-04-23 ### ****- "Indispensable app, except for one thing" For the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, PLEASE add a method of scrolling items without having to go back to the library, scroll, tap, repeat. I cannot even begin to understate how annoying this menu flow is. -- fdgfgthcfb, 2023-12-27 ### ****- "Ah! Just what I was looking for BUT" I would really, really prefer this app in landscape mode as I use my iPad as such while I run games. I find the portrait-only style limiting enough to dock a star. Other than this, the app (especially the free version) is exactly what I need for items on the fly. Landscape mode! Please! -- ifyougotthejones, 2023-06-11 ### ***-- "Good first swipe." I like this app. I think the art and items are unique and fun to work with. I use it. I like it. My hope is that the designers will update and fix some user interface issues around adding a back button to easily switch between different items or go back to the main list from an item. They can streamline purchasing new packs as well. Overall, good app to use in your DM tool kit. -- Redd_Dogg, 2023-04-04 ### ***** "Great Repository for New and Experienced DMs" Don’t like having to dig through various books for magic items? Don’t like having to create magic items from scratch and keep them stored on paper or in random folders? This app is perfect for getting quick and unique magic items on the fly as well as pre-planning magic items and even creating your own. Seriously can’t recommend this enough. Edit: issue currently with the new pack release that has two eagle helms at the top of all of my item groups, hope to see it fixed soon and hopefully corresponding NPCs in the NPC for hire app :-) -- Nightwit, 2022-07-03 ### ***-- "Beautiful art, poor implementation" Is it really so hard to allow you to click on a picture to bring up the description? As it is all you get is pretty pictures with nothing that I can find to take you to the description… -- Bitspersecond, 2022-06-03 [View all Magwa's Magic Item Compendium reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Magwa's Magic Item Compendium In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | The Master Collection | $0.99 | | The Shadow Index | $0.99 | | Elves of Ilfelin | $0.99 | | Mines of Dimlodir | $0.99 | | Gafan's Workshop | $0.99 | | The Red Ravens | $0.99 | | Monthly Subscription | $1.99 | | Seas of the Viamaros | $0.99 | | Swords of Vasteel | $0.99 | | Magic Item Hunters | $0.99 | ## Magwa's Magic Item Compendium Discovered Keywords -
