An app that helps families integrate media and entertainment in a way that works for them -- Closedonsundays3, 2026-06-05 ### ***** "Well done Maka Kids" I recently tried the Maka Kids app and was really impressed. It’s such a thoughtful platform that helps parents feel good about the content their kids are watching—something that can be surprisingly hard to find. Beyond just being safe and vetted, I love that the app includes curated content that teaches real-life skills like making friends, managing big feelings, and taking care of yourself. There’s even a STEM channel, which is a great bonus. It was easy to set up, intuitive to use, and genuinely fun to explore. Honestly, it’s the kind of app I wish I had when my kids were younger. Highly recommend for parents looking for quality, meaningful screen time options. -- Jenn Marshall, 2026-06-03 ### ***** "Perfect for Intentional Parenting" Maka Kids is a gem! I’m in the technology sector and spend a lot of professional time thinking about and working with algorithms. I know what the internet is serving out kids and it is not pretty. Maka Kids bypasses all of the mindless junk online and curates a true “best of” selection of top children’s television. What really sets it apart is the intentional focus on kindness, empathy, and emotional intelligence. My kids are completely engaged, and I love knowing that every single minute of screen time is reinforcing positive social skills. Maka Kids has officially transformed our daily routine. We still limit screen time, but we more flexibility with screen-time because we know Maka is keeping the kids happy, safe and learning. -- Stmvdj, 2026-06-02 ### ***** "Amazing app for parents that need a break" As a dad who sometimes needs to keep my son occupied for short periods of time, this app has been a lifesaver. The channels and settings are easy to customize, and I can tell my 2 year old is actually learning while he watches so I feel good about letting him get some screen time. It’s great to see him try to interact with the characters on the screen, and he loves to watch together! And the little character that pops up before the last show starts helps make sure he doesn’t get upset when it’s time to turn off! As a dad, this app Maka me very happy, and I will continue to use as my kid grows. -- Spartandad2010, 2026-06-02 ### ***** "Wonderful for children AND parents" Really enjoyed the options and the approach. Would keep the children engaged and the parents comfortable that the material is on point and the time limit options provided a level of control and customization. -- Steelpens 78, 2026-06-02 ### ***** "Like the kid’s show I grew up with!" I downloaded Maka Kids and have been watching some of the STEM content. The animation has a nostalgic feel that reminds me of the educational cartoons many of us grew up with. It’s simple, engaging, and easy for children to follow. The stories are fun and easy to understand, but they also encourage kids to think through problems and come up with solutions. As a parent, I appreciate that the app focuses on learning and curiosity rather than just keeping kids glued to a screen. I would definitely recommend it to other parents who are looking for thoughtful, high-quality content for their children. -- T.V.mother, 2026-06-01 ### ***** "Grandparent" The app was surprisingly easy to use, and I was able to set it up in a few minutes -- Sequoia-9, 2026-06-01 ### ***** "Awesome App!" Intuitive features for screen time management plus a wide variety of shows available! -- Catfishluvver, 2026-06-01 ### ***** "Perfect for parents and caregivers" As a nanny, I love this app! It makes it easy to find age-appropriate content while helping children learn important skills like making friends, managing emotions, and building confidence. The screen-time controls are a huge plus. Safe, educational, and engaging! -- M.alejac, 2026-05-30 ### ***** "Love it!" So easy to use!! I can pop on educational videos for my kiddos during story times or for different activities in my classroom! -- Meaghan Testa, 2026-05-29 [View all Maka reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Maka - [Scra Score Sheet](https://apptail.io/app/scra-score-sheet-SSxb/united-states) - [Spin Me - Wheel Random Picker](https://apptail.io/app/spin-me-wheel-random-picker-HGpc/united-states) - [Clip Clop!](https://apptail.io/app/clip-clop-GXBe/united-states) - [On Point VoxPop](https://apptail.io/app/on-point-voxpop-klxf/united-states) - [SuperMouth](https://apptail.io/app/supermouth-ZIzf/united-states) - [The Wadsworth-Longfellow House](https://apptail.io/app/the-wadsworth-longfellow-house-KYgg/united-states) - [Criterion Ticketing](https://apptail.io/app/criterion-ticketing-ZCfn/united-states) - [Vivo Performing Arts](https://apptail.io/app/vivo-performing-arts-nFvw/united-states) - [sudo xkcd](https://apptail.io/app/sudo-xkcd-aWmy/united-states) - [Meevee: Kids Streaming for 2-6](https://apptail.io/app/meevee-kids-streaming-for-2-6-EwMz/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
