With Makazii, users can set a savings goal based on their rent needs, such as TZS 300,000 for 3 months or TZS 1,200,000 for a year. The app allows starting with small amounts, like TZS 10,000 weekly, and tracks progress toward the total. This helps users prepare for rent payments without the pressure of an immediate lump sum.

Unexpected expenses, such as a night out or sudden bills, can disrupt finances. Makazii accommodates this by encouraging regular, small savings contributions. Users can also invite others, like friends or family, to contribute, which can help distribute the cost of rent over time—for example, sharing the load of a TZS 600,000 advance.
