Make erscheint siebenmal pro Jahr und wendet sich an alle, die mit Hardware kreativ und nicht unbedingt nur zweckgebunden umgehen wollen. Mit Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen, ausführlichen Beschreibungen von Make, praktischen Modifizierungen sowie Vorstellungen von Hackerspaces und Fablabs profitieren sowohl Profibastler als auch Neulinge von Make. Auch Tests finden Sie in Make, zum Beispiel von 3D-Druckshops. Lesezeichen und gekaufte Ausgaben (ab 2018) werden über Ihren Heise-Account mit anderen Geräten und Plattformen synchronisiert. Laden Sie sich noch heute die App herunter. Wenn Sie Make noch nicht kennen, in der App steht Ihnen eine kostenlose Ausgabe als Leseprobe zur Verfügung. Als Make Plus- oder Make Digital-Abonnent können Sie sämtliche Ausgaben von Make auf Ihrem Gerät lesen. Geben Sie dazu in den Einstellungen der App auf der Seite „Login" Ihre Zugangsdaten für den Abo-Service Online ein. Schrott! -- _cth, 2024-11-01 ### **--- "Hakt und klemmt" Ich wollte der Welt endlich etwas Gutes tun und habe die Printausgaben von c‘t und make abbestellt in der Hoffnung, das die Apps zuverlässig sind. Erste Panne schon bei der Abo-Ummeldung: die aktuelle make-Ausgabe war gleich in zwei Abos aufgeführt. Allerdings kam die Printausgabe des auslaufenden Abos nicht per Post. Ich bin mal gespannt, was heise letzlich abrechnet. Dann aber zur App: erste Ausgabe runtergeladen (als PDF-Version). iPad offline geschaltet und angefangen zu lesen. Trotz mehrminütigem und abgeschlossenem Download hat die App mich gezwungen für viele Artikel das iPad online zu schalten, damit ich auf den Artikel zugreifen kann. Sehr unschön, weil es so keinerlei Ersatz zur Printausgabe ist und auch noch den Stromverbrauch vollkommen unsinnig steigert. Also Ausgabe gelöscht und sofort versucht nochmal sie wieder zu laden. Seit einer Stunde steht dort „waiting“ und ich habe keinen Zugriff. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, wie schlecht die App funktioniert. Vorher hatte ich sie nur gelegentlich genutzt und da ist mir das irgendwie nicht aufgefallen. Die Verwaltung von Downloads war noch nie benutzerfreundlich. Das kann man deutlich verbessern z.B. mit einem Download-Manager, wie in Web-Browsern, bei dem man vielleicht sogar nachträglich die Reihenfolge der Downloads verwaltet, aber vor allem Downloads übersichtlich pausieren oder abbrechen kann und man den Fortschritt auf einen Blick sieht. -- WTFWhyDoesNoNicknameWork, 2022-10-04 ### ****- "Gut mit Schwäche" Die App ist gut und tut was sie soll. Leider werden lange (56 Zeichen) und komplexe Passwörter mit Sonderzeichen nicht unterstützt! Also Achtung heise Abonnenten, die ihr auf der Heide Homepage einen Account mit zeitgemäß komplexen Passwörtern erstellt habt! Diese App verweigert sich bestimmten Sonderzeichen und Längen. Schade für ein Technik Magazin. Ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, toten Baum ganz aufzugeben, und nur noch elektronisch zu lesen. Dafür wäre aber noch eine richtige App für den Computer gut, den ich sowieso die ganze Zeit mitbenutze, um Themen weiter nachzuvollziehen. Für mich ist iOS halt ein Consumer und kein Maker System.
