## Manage My Care Description
Manage My Care gives you access to outpatient appointment and referral information at all WA public hospital and health services.

It lets you:

•	view dates and times of future appointments as well as referral information
•	update your contact details (e.g. address and phone numbers)
•	request to reschedule or cancel upcoming outpatient appointments for participating clinics 
•	receive notifications about appointments and referrals 
•	view directions, location, instructions and requirements for upcoming appointments.

Absolutely love this app especially when you are caring for multiple patients in the family. It is an excellent first port of call to see if an appointment has been scheduled and is immediate instead of waiting for up to 2 weeks for the letter to arrive in the regular mail. Using Manage My Care in conjunction with Outpatients Direct is such a superior way of handling appointments.

An area of improvement I would like to see is that all hospitals linked to this app and Outpatients Direct put the Manage My Care flyer in with every regular letter so that new patients are aware of it and as a first point of call, hand a flyer to each new patient going through ED for future appointments at each hospital. I was not aware of this excellent app until six months first after attending PCH Hospital and many appointments in between then and now.  It was not until I received a letter in the mail from SCG Hospital which included your flyer. A lot of wasted time and frustration could’ve been avoided. 

Also Outpatients Direct admin staff are not aware of this app and how it operates.

Easy to setup and provides simple and easy to use management of my appointments.
Hospital map is a nice feature.
Would get 5 stars if it had a feature to export appointments to my email client.

overall the app is great and easy to use but at times i find my appointments dont come through until the night before or on day of the appointment abit earlier would be more helpful

What I wish they did was add a “add to calendar” button for Apple calendar, and google calendar, that imported all the relevant info into the calendar in one hit.

A great initiative and a fantastic transition to modern technology from paper based  (posted appointment letters received after appointment times due to postal delivery schedules) to modern timeline communication systems. 
Hopeful for upgrades to appointment scheduling and notifications in ‘real time’ and also changes to engagement with carers post 16 years and ‘adult’ appointments made with responsibilities placed on 16 year olds to mange their care without support from primary caregivers.

I realise people will be working hard on this app, and I don’t like to be negative. But this app falls well short of its name, as you can only see and manage some of your appointments depending upon which hospital and department you’re using. 

Also, the lack of Face ID is annoying. You have to remember a PIN to use every time you open the app.  Biometrics have been around a long time now. Every modern app uses them, so why do we still have to use a PIN?

### **--- "Cannot log in without calling"
I really do not like applications that does not use biometrics for logging in on a device, instead of requiring you to manually type in your e-mail and password.  Trying to reset the password without phoning them is impossible if you cannot remember your PIN (which you are likely to have forgotten if you have forgotten your password too).  The purpose of an app is so that I can manage it myself , not requiring me to phone and end up in a voice queue.

Doesn’t upload my family referrals when I know we do have them, some referrals from years ago show up but have no information on who sent the referral or who it was going to or what it was. Won’t let me add one of my children even though I’m entering the correct details. Don’t even use it because it doesn’t work properly.

I love this app. It might not be perfect, but it allowed me to manage appointments with 4  different specialists to diagnose a significant health matter. I was scared and this app was my lifeline.

I have 3 ultrasounds booked but they don’t show up on the app although I have physical letters to say they’re booked… same hospital as my regular appointments too

Please increase the sections displaying times and dates for appointments for people with vision issues. Also, when the text is sent regarding the appointment if the name of the patient could be added it would help, as therapists we sometimes use our phone number to sign up for patients without phones and the text doesn’t state who it’s for. I discovered this app by accident and once set up has been really helpful in managing my husbands appointments 

I have given 4 stars as room for improvement to include clinician, location and notes section 

Should also be expanded across the whole of WA health

One of the most annoying and frustrating apps I’ve used. Impossible to get into because it’s constantly telling me my pin is incorrect, when in fact I know it absolutely isn’t. Then you go to change it using your password, the password is now incorrect. You just go round and round in circles. It would be a brilliant app if it worked.

The worst ever app i have tried to log in. I get sent an email saying i magically have an appointment but i try for half hour plus to log in till ultimately im suspended 
Just to find out when my appointment is

Its annoying why does it tell me when an appointment is i have no power to check or see or even say if this is suitable for me
Its ridiculous 
I don’t want to spend hours trying to log in then wait for another 2 hours on hold to sort it out 

Its pure incompetence who ever is making these apps are sending people insane its a game to them

Im sick of the way this digital economy is going
We will spend 90
Percent of time working on issues with useless apps
Less power to the people 

This is now the second time this has happened on this app

The government don’t care
