Doesn’t recognise the Fuji system and won’t download the gimbal upgrade. What is the point of this app?
I’ve used the 220 model with a Sony A6000 and a Nikon D5300. The app works perfectly with the Sony, even though Nikon is not supported it still controls the D5300 throughout the 3 axes, (pan, tilt and roll). It can be a little difficult to to get a smooth horizontal pan without affecting the tilt as well, but a bit of practice will allow better control.
Just bought the Manfrotto MVG220 gimbal today and really hoped that the App would work - but it doesn’t. Talks to the gimbal but doesn’t recognise the Nikon Z6 camera attached. Indicates that a firmware update is required, but fails to download. All the gimbal can do is tilt; nothing else. I certainly wouldn’t recommend the App, and by association, the gimbal. Gimbal is going back!
It does not currently work. It remains locked and tells you a firmware updae is needed. Unfortunately firmware updates fail. It needs some work to be done as currently it is useless.
