Manga UP!

First off, everything is censored with giant black boxes. Not just nudity, even clothed bits they deem too risky for some reason. Even though they plaster content warnings in front of every manga like crazy. Monetization is an absolute joke. They not only divide chapters into several parts to make you pay more for less but also interrupt every 11 pages with a notification to give them money. If you might have payed for a chapter (or a third of a chapter rather), you don’t own it, you only RENT it for 3 days. Have fun paying again and again! Also the app warns you every time you take a screenshot that it’s prohibited and you might get banned for doing so but that might be a bluff. All in all absolutely terrible. Please give your money to somebody else but not Square Enix for their scam app.

Censorship for not even lewd material, impressive how far some people have come, if you don’t want to show fan service then don’t even try to license lewd manga!! In the App Store it’s written 17+ and still censored as if a 17 had never seen a woman in bikini? Come on get fixed! Stop censorship!!

When the Manga up app came out , It initially had bismal ratings due to the fact that similar to its Japanese counter part , you had to purchase individual chapters with a bizarre experience points themed system. Since then they have added a subscription based tier similar to the various viz media apps and manga plus. There are still some series that require experience points for the most recent chapters but given that they give you a ton of points for using the app everyday , it’s really easy to get the chapters for free when it’s all said and done. There are some amazing series on here and an incredible variety that is not available on the other apps

I installed this app when I saw the ad of “Assassin x Cinderella” and I fell in love with these two couples so I started reading them and boy, I was obsessed. I kept reading and I thought it was free so I was like YAY! THIS IS THE BEST APP EVER! I read more and more, and then it came to the part where I had no coins and no nothing and I clicked “continue to read” and I had to BUY coins. I was like NOPE SORRY THIS IS THE BEST MANGA BUT IM NOT BUYING ANYTHING. I got upset, but I realized not everything is free, not even the best manga but I loved the manga it’s the best. RECOMMENDED IF YOU’RE INTO ROMANCE AND COMEDY!!

I love this app! It’s a great reading

I like this app because it’s an easy way to read mangas with out spending little-to-no money. I’ve had it for almost a year now and I still use it. You get coins every day, and the next day, you’ll get your coins refilled. I recommend it if you like mangas.

This app started out really bad, but has improved dramatically as of late. Now with a monthly subscription plan, it’s on par with the Shonen Jump and Viz apps. Competing manga apps (especially Kodansha’s K-manga app) could learn a thing or two.

I’m all for paying for manga to benefit the artists, but spitting a chapter into four subsegments of 8 pages and charging for each subsegment separately is money grabbing nonsense. It’s why scanlations are so prevalent. Manga Up should be ashamed of this practice.

The only thing I don’t like is the way you have spend exp or your daily points to read but everything else is really cool I recommend Cinderella and the assassin i that’s what it’s called have fun
