Use of the app requires a MantisX Sensor which can be bought here: It attaches to any picatinny rail (or rail adapter if your firearm doesn't have a built-in rail). The internal electronics of the MantisX Sensor collect movement data before, during, and after your shot. The app analyzes the data and diagnoses your shooting mechanics, provides real-time coaching, and determines what you need to focus on to improve most quickly. MantisX is a powerful tool that will make your training more efficient and effective. ## MantisX Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/e4/d9/41/e4d9415a-c799-9866-11b0-45ccb4cbea9c/8810dbec-c04f-42ce-89a6-2c038dc03d7a_02.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b7/1b/6c/b71b6c6f-c520-4eb0-a2dd-e76bb62bfec7/cd64eb60-1f7a-403c-bfd7-8840c6c1e43b_01.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/9c/6b/fb/9c6bfb39-5673-fb11-7904-3c8655ff5002/02db120d-8b3b-4c57-ba44-fd1f42dd5537_05.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/4f/db/ba/4fdbba59-5e86-c90b-bdfe-77d17b4f3ce0/71a2ab47-295c-46ea-97f5-85c06ddeba8e_08.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/17/3e/43/173e43ff-0ca9-5ef0-8813-4c1d51a481cf/e8e7273a-3868-4dc6-b423-32ff57ca888c_03.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/aa/23/b7/aa23b7a2-3db0-11fd-a5de-2496f4f931da/5742df16-c8e7-4378-9b07-476c7324a892_04.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b9/09/de/b909dee9-cdff-ccf5-17c3-76ff8d4e026d/16ca2a35-50b7-4655-9a26-86aa3b55197f_06.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/35/b1/b0/35b1b047-7f0a-c91b-a471-0b48fa5632c9/c1c8a729-f0b2-4df6-b1b0-f745012e3762_07.png/2048x2732.png) ## MantisX Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 250 (71%) - 4 stars: 40 (11%) - 3 stars: 19 (5%) - 2 stars: 12 (3%) - 1 stars: 33 (9%) ## MantisX Reviews in United States ### ***** "Mantis X3 + Dry Fire Mag" Just found another way to love Mantis even more. Dry firing with the Dry Fire Mag. What a great combination and completely loving to not have to rack the slide after each trigger pull. Winter time fun indoors and saving money on ammo. -- Cuppedwings, 2024-12-15 ### **--- "Inconsistent" The only reason I gave this app 2 stars and not 1 is because is because it gets me to dry fire more. It give very inconsistent feedback. -- goonerbobber, 2024-12-11 ### ****- "Great training aid" The only issue I have with Mantis is I'd like to see a larger weapon selection. I recently bought a Springfield Prodigy 9mm but unfortunately it isn't included in the weapon list. Other than that.....spot on! -- killian64, 2024-11-23 ### ***** "Wow…" It’s honestly insane after almost 5000 shots of dry fire how that improved my live fire skill. I haven’t been more motivated to want to dry Fire my weapon till now. -- Knockout_Cuts, 2024-10-08 ### ***** "Excellent feedback" After a quick turnaround on an app repair the app is working phenomenally again. This app takes your critical dry fire training to the next level with amazing data to correct your form and build muscle memory. -- Schafkopf, 2024-07-02 ### *---- "App Not Working" I click the app and it acts like it will open up but does not. I restarted my phone and that didn’t help. You guys need to get your tech guys to fix whatever bug is going on with the app. -- Jay+Apple, 2024-07-02 ### *---- "No shipping policy & no answers" Ordered on a Thursday. It’s Monday night and not a single shipping update. Mantis says the product went out on Friday. USPS still has no confirmation of the product. Mantis says it’s not their problem and I can contact them again in 3 weeks if not resolved. Looking into cancelling and exploring a chargeback. -- me38264, 2024-05-21 ### ***-- "Live fire has never worked for me" I’ve owned the Mantis for a few years now, and dry fire works great. Whenever I take it to the range, the live fire never works. Every time, I follow the troubleshooting steps and nothing changes. -- CB', 2024-03-11 ### ***-- "Time to integrate the Academy app" Using this app for dry fire would be waaay better if they could integrate the features of the Mantis Academy (real target and laser shot detection). I am somewhat disappointed that I spent $175 to upgrade my Blackbeard for a glorified gyroscope. 😕 -- NateDawg1123, 2023-11-16 ### ***** "Incredible Training Tool" I use it daily! Hundreds of shots minimum daily in the comfort of my own home, really benefits my shooting at the range when I’m actually paying for ammo! Couldn’t be more happy with my Blackbeard X and X10 Elite for both dry and live fire. -- 137nickname137, 2023-07-18 [View all MantisX reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## MantisX Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Austria | Sports | #186 | ## MantisX Discovered Keywords -
