WHY MAPCHOICE Many users rely on Google Maps links on websites, but still prefer Apple Maps for navigation. MapChoice is designed for users who want freedom of choice, not forced redirection. Instead of changing how links work, MapChoice keeps the original Google Maps directions intact and simply adds an additional Apple Maps option. HOW IT WORKS When a webpage contains a Google Maps directions link, MapChoice detects it and displays a small Apple Maps button next to the existing Directions button. • The original Google Maps link remains unchanged • You decide which map app to use • One tap opens the same destination in Apple Maps No copying, no searching again, no disruption. FEATURES Optional Apple Maps button next to Google Maps directions Original Google Maps behavior is always preserved Works on most websites in Safari On-device link detection and conversion Clean, minimal Safari extension UI No account, no login required Privacy-focused: no browsing data collected Lightweight and fast PERFECT FOR Users who prefer Apple Maps but still browse sites using Google Maps links People who want choice between map apps Anyone who doesn’t want automatic redirection iPhone and iPad users who value Apple Maps integration EASY SETUP Install MapChoice from the App Store Enable the extension in Safari Settings Browse any website with Google Maps links Choose Apple Maps or Google Maps freely PRIVACY MapChoice works entirely on your device.
