Search feature
- Search for places, streets, mountains, etc. No internet connection required.
Map material
- MapOut is based on the OpenStreetMap project, the “Wikipedia of Maps” - you can make corrections and additions yourself on OpenStreetMap.org. The latest maps are delivered with periodic updates.
- Download the regions of your choice - the maps can now be displayed without an internet connection (offline map).
Tours
- Drawing: Draw your own routes and waypoints directly on the map. Retouch existing tours and imported GPX files or let them directly snap to the road network.
- Import: With a free “MapOut.me” account you can send directions by email to your device. GPS-Tours can be found as gpx or kml files on many websites with tips for hiking or biking (e.g. on www.gpsies.com)
Record: Take recordings of your own tours and share them with friends.
Information: Quick overview of each tour - length, altitude change, map section and route profile

Absolut genial!
Verwende dieses App für meine Geschichte „Studien“. Eintragen von Festungen etc.etc. Dann auch Export z.B. um es in Garmin Basecamp als POIs zu verwenden. Bei Motorradtouren auf altem Handy zur Navigationshilfe zzgl. zu Garmin. Um hier den Überblick zu behalten. Nehme keine Straßenkarten mehr mit. Ein absoluter Hit wäre, wenn es noch CarPlay tauglich wird. Joachim

Ich benutze die App teilweise fürs tracken meiner Kajaktouren, aber auch als Speicher wo ich die GPX Daten meiner Touren von anderen Trackern einspiele und gesammelt dann in MapOut verwalte. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!! 👍🏻

Danke liebe Entwickler für so eine tolle App. Man sieht, es braucht keinen Registrierungszwang, Datenschnüffelei und unnötige social Features um eine tolle App zu machen. Genau das was ich gesucht habe, ihr habt alles richtig gemacht!
Offline Karte ohne Navi
Großartige, sehr umfangreiche Karten, wo einfachst eine Tour eingezeichnet, dann getrackt oder eine Bestehende importiert werden kann, aber leider ist keine Navifunktion verbunden. Sehr schade!
Very nice app with potential
The map looks stunning and the snap-to-road function is the best feature I ever saw in such an app. I wish you would add iCloud Sync between devices and a dedicated field for the duration of a route so it does not have to be in the title!

Super App
Das beste Hilfsmittel für den Tourengeher. Das planen von Touren ist ein tolles Hilfsmittel. Wünschenswert wäre eine freie Festlegung der Tourenfarben und eine individuelle Speicher und Anzeige Option. Tolle App für wenig Geld!
