Offline Landkarte der Welt für iPhone und iPad. Fast so schön wie eine Papierkarte – nur vielfältiger.
- für Wanderer: mit gut lesbarer Darstellung der Geländeform, auch im hintersten Winkel ohne Internet 
- für Velofahrer: mit Velorouten-Netz, Geschwindigkeits- und Distanzanzeige
- für Stadtreisende: Stadtpläne mit Touristik-Informationen
- für Geniesser: einfach schön anzuschauen

3D Neige-Ansicht
- Neige das Gerät in beliebige Richtungen um einen besseren Eindruck des Geländes zu erhalten. Mehr Info auf 

Suchfunktion
- Suche nach Orten, Strassen, Berge, usw. Es wird dazu keine Internetverbindung benötigt.

Kartenmaterial
- MapOut basiert auf dem OpenStreetMap-Projekt, dem «Wikipedia der Karten» – Korrekturen und Ergänzungen kannst Du selber auf OpenStreetMap.org vornehmen. Mit periodischen Updates werden jeweils aktuelle Karten ausgeliefert.
- Lade die Regionen Deiner Wahl herunter - die Karten sind nun ohne Internetverbindung anzeigbar (Offline-Karte).

Touren
- Zeichnen: Zeichne Deine eigenen Touren und Wegpunkte direkt auf die Karte. Retuschiere existierende Touren und importierte GPX Dateien oder lass sie direkt auf das Wegnetz schnappen
- Importieren: mit einem gratis «MapOut.me» Konto können «Wegbeschreibungen» per Email an dein Gerät gesendet werden. GPS-Touren findest du als gpx or kml Dateien auf vielen Webseiten mit Tipps zum Wandern oder Biken (z.B. auf www.gpsies.com)
- Aufnehmen: mache «Aufnahmen» deiner eigenen Touren und teile sie mit Freunden. 
- Informationen: schnelle Übersicht zu jeder Tour – Länge, Höhendifferenz, Kartenausschnitt und Streckenprofil

Danke an die Entwickler! Ich verwende die App schon seit Jahren für Radtouren, Navigation in dem Bergen und auf Stadttrips. Wer sich damit beschäftigt, wird erkennen, das man keine teuren Navigeräte braucht. Wann man mit dem Rad am nächsten Gipfel ankommt, sieht man mit MapOut schon lange!

Verwende dieses App für meine Geschichte „Studien“.

Eintragen von Festungen etc.etc. Dann auch Export z.B. um es in Garmin Basecamp als POIs zu verwenden.

Bei Motorradtouren auf altem Handy zur Navigationshilfe zzgl. zu Garmin.
Um hier den Überblick zu behalten.

Nehme keine Straßenkarten mehr mit.

Ein absoluter Hit wäre, wenn es noch CarPlay tauglich wird.

Ich benutze die App teilweise fürs tracken meiner Kajaktouren, aber auch als Speicher wo ich die GPX Daten meiner Touren von anderen Trackern einspiele und gesammelt dann in MapOut verwalte. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!! 👍🏻

Großartige, sehr umfangreiche Karten, wo einfachst eine Tour eingezeichnet, dann getrackt oder eine Bestehende importiert werden kann, aber leider ist keine Navifunktion verbunden. Sehr schade!

Das beste Hilfsmittel für den Tourengeher. Das planen von Touren ist ein tolles Hilfsmittel. Wünschenswert wäre eine freie Festlegung der Tourenfarben und eine individuelle Speicher und Anzeige Option. Tolle App für wenig Geld!

Habe alle (oder zumindest die meisten) Off-Line-Apps getestet - keine einzige bietet auch nur annähernd so eine geniale Methode, Karten so schön darzustellen (3-D Modus).
Auch der Download der Karten ist perfekt gelöst.
