Open a Telcordia SR-4731 (.sor) file from any OTDR and get an interactive trace you can pinch-zoom, pan, and measure. Drop two markers to read the distance, loss, and attenuation across any span — the way you would on the instrument itself. WHAT IT DOES - Decode and plot .sor traces with full acquisition parameters - Automatic event classification — connectors, splices, gainers, ghosts, fiber end - A/B two-marker measurement: distance, 2-point loss, and dB/km - Link health score with a clear pass/fail verdict - ORL, section attenuation, uniformity, and a full loss-budget breakdown - Baseline comparison — overlay a commissioning trace and see exactly what changed - Bidirectional true splice loss — pair both directions and average out the backscatter bias (ITU-T G.650.3 method), with gainers resolved - Dual-wavelength macrobend detection — compare 1310 vs 1550 nm and flag bends that lose more at the longer wavelength - On-device PDF test reports, branded with your company and name - CSV export of the event table LEARN 23 illustrated, vendor-neutral topics covering dead zones, dynamic range, reflectance, ghosts, gainers, bidirectional testing, PON and splitter testing, multimode limits, OTDR variants, calibration, fiber types, and a field troubleshooting workflow. TOOLS Field calculators for distance, dead zone, reach from dynamic range, loss budget, optical-vs-route length, splitter loss, and averaging gain. SIMULATE Generate synthetic traces with seeded faults — connectors, splices, gainers, macrobends, ghost echoes — to practise reading them. PRIVACY No account, no tracking, no ads. Every trace is parsed, analyzed, and turned into a report on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Free to use: trace viewer, basic analysis, demo traces, the core simulator, and 7 LEARN topics. A one-time Pro unlock adds the full analysis engine, all 23 topics, every simulator fault, configurable thresholds, and PDF/CSV export. Built for fiber-optic field technicians and network engineers. Grounded in public standards — Telcordia SR-4731, ITU-T G.650.x / G.652 / G.657, IEC 61746, TIA-568. ## MapYourOTDR Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/d8/d8/f1/d8d8f146-6b91-d0f0-aa21-e15d25090772/10_IMG_6218.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/ef/ca/d8/efcad821-dd95-0b69-3a86-e1fb0b3d6fb0/02_IMG_6227.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/54/15/1b/54151ba7-a1c4-b8dc-8974-d62fe3cd37ee/03_IMG_6225.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/cc/55/24/cc55249f-93e1-ee79-535b-4d25f899b5c0/09_IMG_6219.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ec/fb/e0/ecfbe033-5e29-a5ab-d3c2-cec44847e6b4/08_IMG_6220.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/92/d2/dc/92d2dc60-26cf-d3bd-7214-b9d638fe832a/06_IMG_6222.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/b3/62/90/b3629066-a065-abfd-7bb7-7d535d917791/07_IMG_6221.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/e0/76/10/e07610f3-44bf-2a8e-2b4f-6756ccb39368/01_IMG_6228.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/14/56/0a/14560a43-4f05-f0d4-232a-ce8cfcf088a9/05_IMG_6223.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/ad/6d/e1/ad6de193-19c4-67ed-f23d-7daa60c1b036/04_IMG_6224.png/1284x2778.png) ## MapYourOTDR In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | MapYourOTDR | $29.99 | ## Apps Similar to MapYourOTDR - [Find My Fiber](https://apptail.io/app/find-my-fiber-GkZc/new-zealand) - [vastufy](https://apptail.io/app/vastufy-lFXd/new-zealand) - [Fiberizer Plus](https://apptail.io/app/fiberizer-plus-PsQj/new-zealand) - [flexiTester](https://apptail.io/app/flexitester-zftp/new-zealand) - [Wire Gauge & Size Calculator](https://apptail.io/app/wire-gauge-size-calculator-czqv/new-zealand) - [NEMA Guide](https://apptail.io/app/nema-guide-BQIv/new-zealand) - [Purple Fibre](https://apptail.io/app/purple-fibre-eAQw/new-zealand) - [Fiber Closure Manager](https://apptail.io/app/fiber-closure-manager-iaBx/new-zealand) - [FiberView](https://apptail.io/app/fiberview-NYqz/new-zealand) - [otsora](https://apptail.io/app/otsora-egYA/new-zealand) ## MapYourOTDR Available In - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/mapyourotdr-pgYA/azerbaijan) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/mapyourotdr-pgYA/canada) - [Ghana](https://apptail.io/app/mapyourotdr-pgYA/ghana) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/mapyourotdr-pgYA/mexico) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/mapyourotdr-pgYA/new-zealand) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/mapyourotdr-pgYA/thailand) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
