## Marathon Runner Description
To be the best, you have to train with the best. The Marathon Runner app is a unique running trainer based on the program of renowned Dr. Nicholas Romanov, two-time Olympic coach and the creator of the revolutionary Pose Method of running. Its primary purpose is to help athletes prepare for long-distance running competitions such as marathons, half-marathons, 5Ks and 10Ks.

Just set a race goal (M, HM, 10K, 5K), select the number of training days, and the date of the race. The app asks you to run time trials or enter your most recent 5K result. Based on that, Marathon Runner will provide you with an optimal training plan and pace for your running workouts according to your current ability level.

During training, the app tracks your results and adjusts each upcoming workout based on your preceding results. (See Premium Account for details.)

Main features:

- Customized training plan to prepare for the race (M, HM, 10K, 5K) based on training methods Olympic runners use
- Real-time GPS tracking of your running route on a map
- Automatic pauses when you walk or stop moving.
- Interval training with auto-stop functionality and detailed interval results.
- History of your accomplished goals
- Switch between miles/km

Premium Account

You can unlock additional features like pace guidance and voice coaching via the premium subscription option that will optimize your training. A 30-day free trial is available so you can explore all of its advantages. After the trial, the premium subscription costs $9.99 per month.

Premium Account benefits

- Dynamic marathon training plan: The app analyzes results and updates the training program after each workout.
- Personal coach: While running, Marathon Runner gives you voice recommendations on the pace you have to keep to achieve better results.

## Marathon Runner Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Love it but needs updated!"
Hopefully this gets to the developer. I absolutely LOVE this app and have recommended it to a few friends along with the book Running Revolution, which is what the app was designed to accompany.

However, there have been quite I few iOS updates since the last time the app was updated and it’s starting to act a little buggy, like giving error messages after every run.

If it weren’t for that, I’d certainly give it 5 stars!
-- DylangerBravo, 2021-12-11

### ****- "Great but should work with the Iwatch"
Great but should connect to the Iwatch
-- asaf2102123, 2021-12-09

### *---- "Not Android compatable"
I bought this on my iPad, but want to use it on my Samsung phone. Not an option.
-- Ccopes1, 2020-05-10

### **--- "Tried it"
Great interface and user experience visually! But I’m looking for a training app that doesn’t do interval training and this does. Also this app uses meters not miles, which isn’t compatible with other apps/means of tracking my distance so will be deleting it.
-- Elle603, 2019-11-05

### ***-- "Не интеграции с соц.сетями"
Не могу поделиться тренировкой в соц.сетях, поэтому трояк
-- stanwilds, 2019-09-07

### ****- "New runner"
The instant feedback while running gives an immediate feedback on pace.sometimes the gps bleeps out and loses me but I have found it very helpful to teach me pace, distance.and speed.
-- Healthcoach70, 2019-08-31

### *---- "Terrible app"
After months of using this app and tracking my stats the app lost most of my stats and continues to have problems very disappointed now will use runtastic for the future. Thanks while it lasted though
-- Money asap, 2019-08-14

### ***** "Great App!!"
App is great and love using it for my training!!
-- Koljenka, 2019-06-18

### ***** "Love it!"
Best thing ever! So easy to use, It’s works really easy for me! I recommend it!!!
-- ChopperSM, 2019-06-17

### ****- "Good training program"
The only thing I’d love to see that isn’t present in the app is an Apple Watch component, because I don’t run with my phone.
